I've finally just passed the 6 month post op stage so I've just updated my picture trail tonight if anyone is interested in taking a look :-)
I'm still suffering with pain in my shoulder blades 90% of the time and finding wires uncomfortable but I love my boobs so it's all worth it. I finally feel like I have the shape I always wanted (maybe a few less pounds round the waistline would be nice now though haha).

Still quite achey if I'm honest Muddy, in my left especially, and keep feeling a really spikey sharp twinge. I'm not concenred, seems to be the norm kind of pain for nerves knitting back.
The laughing ache is annoying though, having to hold my boobs when I laugh a lot

Aw bless ya, but yeh it sounds completely normal though.
I'm not sure why it is but it's not nice, it's been like it literally since day 1 of the op so I've resorted to thinking it's always gonna be like it now. I think I need to strengthen my upper back muscles so I try to do exercises every day and I'm gonna try get back into swimming and see if that helps. The only time it doesn't hurt is first thing on a morning. It's both shoulder blades in the middle/upper back. Damn that pleasure pain theory lol x

Wow!!! Muddy your trail is amazing!! Just had a good old nose - it's amazing how your end result looks bigger than the result after the first few days. They've settled so well and they look the perfect size. Really hope mine turn out as perfect - congrats!!

That's interesting what you say about when you were breastfeeding, and your probably right, I'm sure my whole posture will have changed. I do try and correct myself when I notice I'm slouching. Something I probably need to take more notice of, thanks xxx

Hey [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I'd love to have a look at your pics please?? I am counting down to my 6 month mark it's dragging! Have u thought about seeing an osteopath for your pains? I had really bad shoulder and back pain, went to see my osteopath and she totally sorted it out, she said it's quite common after breast augmentation cos your body is trying to adjust to extra weight and trying to hold itself differently, and lots of other related reasons I can't remember everything she said lol! But I recommend going to get treated by an osteopath it's such a relief! Xxx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I've thought lots about seeing someone about my back/shoulders Hun, it might sound daft but as I can't lay on my front for them to massage I've been putting it off lol. I have no idea if the would be able to do it without me having to lay on my front! I might have a look round and see what's in my area and maybe give them a call, especially seen as you have said it has worked for you :-)

Seven hams do some lovely ones, I have a couple of the floozy bras as they fit me really well and are probably my most comfortable, and they aren't too prices either :-)

Congratulations Muddypaws you look boobtastic. So natural, great shape and perfect size. Your scars have become really light. Bit of boob envy I'm feeling

Thanks, I am really happy with the result. And no way should you have boob envy as yours look amazing in your AVI and your still very early PO! My bra is a wired Floozy bra from Debenhams, they do it in a few different styles and it's really comfy too. I've got that one and one in a bright coral type colour, they do the knickers to match too x
