Worried I'm going to big!!!
Hi everyone,
Just need some advice, I'm booked for 3 weeks time and am now getting a little nervous.
I'm booked to have 450cc smooth moderate profiles .
Currently a 34 b so was hoping to achieve a 34 d is this going to make me huge??? I'm a little worried as the surgeon said there is 0.5 mm difference from 400 to 450 so hardly anything .
My stats are:
Dress size : 10
Weight: 64 kg
Height: 5 ft 4
I'm worried I will look " to fake"and have gone too big.

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
That does sound big, but if there's one thing I've picked up from these forums it's that most end up wishing they've gone bigger. I went for 325cc and glad I didn't go any bigger as I wanted to look proportional, not "enhanced" if that makes sense. I feel like I look quite big without clothes, but they've not dropped and fluffed yet and look natural in clothing.
I think the most sensible thing to do would be to ask for another sizing appointment to try them on - try to take some of your own clothes with you and, if possible, a second pair of eyes for a second opinion (e.g. mum, sister, friend, etc).
Don't feel like you're not entitled to another appointment or should feel bad about being unsure - you're paying a lot of money for something that's a lifetime commitment, so is worth getting it right!

Yeh I thought it was quite big, I was thinking more along the 350 cc but I spose its down to measurements and product.
Think I will phone them tomorrow.

I would go back to see your surgeon and like Kay said try the sizers on again, take some pictures with you to show your ps of what you would like to look like. X

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Just had it explained to me now it's making sense.
If I was going high profile I wouldn't be offered that size it's because of the profile that allows me go to that size, which is about a d cup

That's right I have 410 extra high profile and hey look big I'm an f cup. With moderates they will be more distributed across the breast

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
That does sound big! I've gone from a 34B (although I wasn't filling the cup completely) to wearing a 34D (not been measured yet as only 4 weeks post op but it seems to fit) and that was with moderate profile 300cc overs.

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
I would go and get yourself fitted pre-op. Head to John Lewis or Debenhams (NOT M&S) and make sure you are what you actually think you are. There are huge misconceptions about size. I'd say 90% of the girls that come here are 'looking for a nice full D/DD'. That is a mythical size. What you see in the papers is not a DD, but half the time is actually a FF or something. Bra size is all relative to the woman, as is the implant.
Once you know your true size pre op, it'll give you a much better idea of your outcome post op. If I'd have been told I'd be wearing 32E bras post op, I'd have freaked out and gone smaller. But the size and the look of the breast suit me to a tee. And thats what you have to look at, not the bra size, but how they look on you. Have you done the rice test yet? That's a fair indication of what they can look like. But of course, if you're really that concerned, go back to the surgeon again, and maybe try on some more sizers.
Who's your surgeon at THG?

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Thanks loui 1981 that makes more sense now.
I've done the rice test and did 350 but they actually seemed quite small!
Charlii I think your right, I'm actually a small 34b,I fill the bottom part just none at the top. I've even tried a 34 c with nothing in and was surprised as again I could fill some of it just missing the top.
I think like you said it's not so much size it's body shape aswell, and the 450 will just make me in proportion. There was only 0.5mm in difference from 400 to 450.
Think I need to stop thinking numbers.

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Do you know your implants dimensions, that helped me with my sizing worries a lot. My implants were 11.75 wide by 4.8 projection and 12cm wide by 4.9cm projection. Once I realised that they were only going to stick out 5cm more than they currently were it really helped me put my mind at ease about sizes. The hospital group are great you will be fine :) xx

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
If they feel right when you tried the sizers on, and you like the look of them, go for it.
It doesn't matter if it sounds big, its how it feels for the look you personally want. I would say take in pics of girls boobs you DO like, and the shape etc. Gives the PS an idea of the look you want to achieve.
I thought 375 sounded big, but I tried them, and they were perfect for what 'I' WANTED TO ACHEIVE.
Good Luck

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Same as Twinky! I keep having mini freakouts thinking mine seem too big a size to go for but I know that when I tried the sizers on (twice) they looked just right. Just got to have a bit of faith!
I'm worrying too - and more so the closer the date gets but I'm adament I won't change size! xx

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Titalishious avi @boobieplease, looking fab x
I totally agree understanding the dimensions helps. If you know what make of implant, google the catalogue. Also what end result on one woman will differ to another, wish pic are a great way for your ps to get an idea of your vision.
I was an empty c cup and 325 have taken me to an E cup (I'm shorter than yourself ) and think 450 may give you more of a DD or bigger. But that's a great size, fab naked or in bikini etc yet totally able to hide them should you wish. It really all depends on what your end desired outcome is. Do 450 rice sizers with different tops on to get a good feel for them xx

I think that does sound like a big size but on your frame it might not be. if you are not sure go back to your PS and try on sizers again. x

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Did you try on sizers Sarbs? Have you also tried the rice test? If so then you just have to go with what you felt comfortable with! Its so hard isn't it - I keep thinking I'm going too big! What are your stats?
Its a big implant but like mrskelly says it might be perfect for your frame xx

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
Hi Sarbs900... I am sort of similar to you in post op stats and I am now a 36d or 34dd depending on bra... My boobs are not too big at all although I worried a lot that they would be !!... You are having about a cup size bigger implants than mine so I think a 36dd outcome sounds about right... I have a pic trail you are welcome to view, just pm me xx

Re: Worried I'm going to big!!!
As said before, it all depends on the woman. Some boobs, especially post breast feeding boobs, need a lot more filling up than "virgin" boobs. Band size also plays a huge part, as a bra size is all relative volumes. Dont focus on the size of the implant, but rather how they look on you. Did you like the sizers if you tried them on? Definitely give the rice test a go, wear them for a day about the house in a white vest or tee, and you'll soon get a good feel for them. If you then think theyre too big, go back and discuss it further. Have you had a few different consults? Was that a consensus size?
