Re: December Buddies
IFJG - I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I thought I might be pregnant too as I felt sick yesterday morning - I was convinced! But I have a coil fitted so can't be? I think I'm so paranoid about getting ill or something else stopping it getting done that I'm going to make myself ill in the process! Argh - annoyed with myself! Going on a 6k run this morning and paranoid I'll slip and fall!! What an idiot - I mean really..!! Maybe I just need to wrap myself in cotton wool and stay inside for the next 10 days. Limit any catastrophes!! Haha! Xx

Arrrrh bless you girls, I was the same though. I didn't do a pregnancy test don't waste your money-they do them as standard with the urine test on admission.
The binders just get tight towards the end of the day so not to bad more annoying than anything.
Not long now bet u girls can't wait.

Re: December Buddies
Hahaha Lucy it got to the point for me that this morning I had to do two pregnancy tests!!! Luckily they were both negative but I feel like I'm going mad! I woke up with a cold as well so I'm bothered by that. I'm not too sure when they decide they can't operate due to illness!? I've seen some girls say it's only if you have a chesty illness. I've only got 4 days left now I cannot bloody believe it, I'm working until the day before as well so it's going to go soooo fast. I think we will be absolutely fine it's just because it's such a massive thing to do and it would be weird not to be nervous!

Awwww thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I love hearing from you girls who have had it done, it really reassures me. I am so excited despite the nervousness! 4 days ahhhhhh! My partner is coming with me for the day, I'm annoyed because my admission time is 11.50 so I am going to be STARVING! I can eat some toastt but have to have finished it by 7.30am I'm such a snacker as well so dunno how I'm gonna cope with not eating hahah!!

Re: December Buddies
Lousmith I don't think I'll allow my husband to eat in front of me - that would be torture! My admission time is midday too and I'm dreading it. I get really angry when i can't eat and irritable - poor husband is going to get the brunt of it I'm sure!
IFJG - i'm coldy too - feel like i've been fighting something off for days. But I've been goggling it and its only if you have a chest infection that you will get cancelled - a common cold is fine. I'm dreading having a cough after surgery tho - Imagine how painful that would be!
xx

I didn't allow him to eat in front of me, but he was reluctant to leave me in case i went to theatre.
It's not really painful to cough just more tight across the chest. Your be fine it's not half as bad as I imagined it to be. X

Hello!! I asked about drinking as its Xmas and all and they said I can have a few drinks Xmas day (9 days post op) but not to go crazy! I know some girls are told to stop drinking 2 weeks before too but mine told me 2 days before. So um currently drinking a gin and tonic after a busy day at work! Xx
