The continuation of my freak out
i haven't been able to get it out of my mind that I was getting boobs that were way too big, so today I contacted the hospital and asked for a slightly smaller size. Instead of 375/400 I've now asked for 350/375
I'm not sure if there's a huge difference between these sizes but I feel more comfortable in the 300's range than the 400 especially because I'm going for a natural look.
Or am I being stupid?

Of course not- it's your body and you're paying for a service at the end of the day. Peace of mind is so important, otherwise you'll wonder "what if..."
I think you've done the right thing. You will be able to relax and focus on your recovery instead of worrying about the sizes now.

Re: The continuation of my freak out
You have to be confident going in. If you're happier now that you've asked for a smaller size, then thats the best decision. Hopefully they'll have both sizes ordered in, and you can have one last chat with the surgeon before you dot the i's and cross the t's to absolutely confirm.

Re: The continuation of my freak out
Thanks Kay. I just hope they have time to get the other size ordered in because my op is on Thursday and I've just emailed them tonight about it. If they don't then I will stick with the 400 and 375. I have just tried my macom on and it seems a bit loose :/ I'm not sure whether to go and get another bra now Incase that one is no good. Crikey I'd love to stop thinking about it for a second!

Re: The continuation of my freak out
You need to do the right thing for you, as said above its your body... And it's normal to worry so much before the op, I certainly did !
I have a pic trail if you'd like to have look... I am a different frame to you and no boobs to start with but you will see how that size looks on me... Might help you a little bit xx

Re: The continuation of my freak out
Oh bless - I really feel for you - I think I will be the same as my date draws nearer! It's totally normal for you to be worrying about everything! I have gone for 375 - for the same reason as you - I felt safer being in the 300's. Plus the surgeon said that going more towards the 400's would tip the balance to making me look more augmented which I didn't want. Obviously 400 suits a lot of ladies - just not for my frame. I also feel my macom is not tight enough but don't forget you will be swollen so it will be a tighter fit. Also macom do next day delivery so if you find you need a smaller size post op you can get one pretty quick. Try and stop worrying - you are going to look amazing!!!!! Xxx

Don't worry about the Macom- I bought XS which fit my ribs exactly and an S to accommodate for swelling - and day 5 I'm still in the S because of all the swelling!

Yeah, not bad at all thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Going to try a trip to the shops today. Main problems are backache and getting comfortable. I'm only taking paracetomol or ibuprofen now.
The eurosurgical bra I bought arrived this morning and looks a lot more comfortable so going to wash it and wear it later. I'm such a saddo that I'm excited!

You're not being stupid at all! All of us ladies have our moments. If you are feeling much happier in the 300cc range then stick there hun, you've got to go into that operating room feeling confident! :D

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] did you speak to them about the new size on the phone? With a lot of medical stuff there's a fast courier period so should be time if they sort it today - fingers crossed for you!
