In wearing a size 32 D sports bra and today it feels tight around the band one of my incisions hadn't healed on Friday so still no showering
I've been smoking still although still less than usual I can't seem to stop as had some really bad news regarding my mum's health no excuse I know but was only having the odd pull till then do you think this is why my bands feeling tight I'm only usually a 30 band so 32 should be fine sorry for the long post xx

Re: tight feeling
Sorry to hear about your mum! I doubt the smoking would be causing it - maybe just swelling still? Is the bra brand new? I'm a 30 band but wear a 32 and when I buy a new bra it always feels super tight until it loosens up a bit after more wear and washing etc. Xx

Re: tight feeling
Smoking shouldnt affect it, unless its your lungs that feel tight rather than your bra. What hook do you have it on? A new bra should always fit on the loosest hook, so that as it stretches through wear and tear you can tighten it.
Maybe try padding out the incision a little with a cotton wool pad so it doesnt rub?

Re: tight feeling
I'm a 28 in measurement but 30 in a new bra still feels super tight. It's taken me weeks to get used to a 30 band as always used to wear 32. Wore a 30dd all day today and have had to swop it for my post op harness this evening as I just needed to get out of it. I smoke and don't think it has anything to do with it. Xx

Re: tight feeling
Thanks I've been wearing it on tightest hooks will loosen it see if that helps...going to get measured on Thursday so will see what they say ... swelling has gone down loads as my surgical band is running out of velcro and wouldn't go no where near that tight last week

Re: tight feeling
Weird feelings come and go and they change. If you've got a movement like feeling then I reckon you've still swelling that needs to go down, have you had strange gurgling noises? I did especially when raising my arms xx
