400 or 425? Arghhh
so at my appointment I decided on 400s, the 425 looked just slightly too big and the 400 I thought could pass for big but natural boobs. Now I'm totally second guessing myself wondering if I should have chosen the 425.
Should I just go with the 425 because I'm likely to regret going smaller than bigger.... Or should I go back and try sizes again?
I'd had two appointments with different clinics and chosen 420s with them.
The surgeon recommended 350-400 but said I could go slightly bigger if I wanted.
Gah it's so hard to decide!

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
I would say go and try them on. I went with 375 as they looked big but natural, and I originally wanted the 350cc. But as I couldn't tell the diff between them, I thought, hell I will go for the 375.
Now with the 400 I felt large.
However now there's girls on here who have had even bigger, I do sometimes think, I could of gone bigger really, especially as I'm tall...having said that I am an E cup!
so I'm not small by any means!
If you can safely go that little bit bigger, then I probably would. As long as you don't feel ridiculous obviously.
Will probably just give you that extra oomph in the cleavage area.
But absolutely try them on, and try diff clothes on too. Ans TAKE PICTURES!
Always go to refer back to.
Good luck xx

I took pictures but stupidly I put two different coloured vests on and that's distracting from the way the sizes look in the pics lol.
When I tried 420 on at my other appointments I felt like that was the tipping point so maybe that extra 5cc is making them too large (though I know it's only like a tsp difference)

Are you having unders or overs?
What are your pre op stats?
If the 420 feel too big, maybe the 400 are better then hun. You don't want to feel top heavy, or I didn't rather...
My brief was to just have some boobs that suit my tall frame but I didn't want massive. I wore padded bra's daily so mine just look like I have boobs now lol but I can are them cleavage or not...I didn't want people to no I had had them done.
And they don't.
And that's a 34e cup!
I will pm you my picturetrail,so you can see what mine are like at 375...
And a white vest top is your best betxx

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
I was pretty much as per Twinky says above... I wanted to be in proportion for my frame, and not massive boobs !... 400cc in the rice test I felt suited me and didn't look too big... Ps agreed with this size, although I could've gone bigger... I love my result... I think they look natural but still a good size, and no one has noticed either, which is what I wanted !!... In the right bra and top though they can look huge !
Depends what look etc you're after... Keep doing the rice test if you're not sure... Wear them when you're out and about ! Xx

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
Pre BA I was a 32c, went up to an f while breast feeding. I wanted to fill out that stretched out skin, lift the sag and not have a lift. Went with 325 and was the best size for my frame (ps took 300 and 325 in to theatre). I didn't want to look fake but since swelling has gone and in settling and softening I do sometimes wish I'd gone just a little bigger.
I did like the size the 350 gave on sizers but I couldn't go with that as it was too big for my body. If your not sure, maybe another sizing appointment would be a good idea.
How tall are you?

I'm 5'7 and the same as you have been an F when feeding. I've got the same thing I don't need a lift now but would in a few years if I went with over the muscle so I've chosen to go with unders. I want to make sure I don't look top heavy but I've got a skinny waist and big hips so I want to balance myself out on the top half.
I wear about a ten and am 9st5

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
My ps advised overs to reduce the risk of ball in sock look in a few years.
Getting the size right is so important but so hard. You have to be comfortable with your choice.
If it was me, if the 425 will fit safely and liked the 420 then I'd go with the 425. But that is my thinking xx

Bigger isn't always better, and it may well be you get on the table and the 425 is too big to safely implant anyway. Try them both on again, with a white vest for both, and take lots of pics. If you like the larger, agree to him taking both sizes in and trying for the bigger, and if he thinks it's too big, you'd be happy with the 400 too

I also think shape is a big thing for natural. I am the same size as my mum now who is natural. Certain bras make me look fake whilst others I look fine x

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
The sizes are so complicated as i chose 375cc or 425cc at my consult and felt really happy, Then when i came on here and saw pictures of same sizes some looked a lot bigger than i wanted so obviously went into panic mode. I think i just came to realise everyone is different and the sizes will not look same on everyone. I'm still going to be trying sizers on again at my next consult just to put my mind at rest. xx

Remember on here too [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] all you see is an avi pic on here, so its hard to see what that person looks like fully, whole body etc.
But your right, all the sizes come up different people as were all built different. Different skin types, different thickness and some are under some over etc.
Its a miefield really, but trying the sizers on is your best bet to 'feel' which size you like.

Yes [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], Think thats why i started to panic and confuse myself ( not that it takes much really. lol) over sizes. it is a mine field and you always feel like you are second guessing yourself. If i could i would be on phone everyday to my ps but im holding off till my appointment with my list of questions and photos ive found on line. I have absolute faith in my ps though. xx

Re: 400 or 425? Arghhh
We have all been there! I was always ringing my clinic in the beginning....'do you think my ps would mind if I went bigger'?! pmsl!!!
I had read he only did 'natural looking ba', so I was in a panic thinking he wouldn't let me go bigger than 350! When I got there and he whipped the 400cc implants out I was like 'now then Dr Sleiter, steady on, steady on'... LMAO

Save em all for your appointment, better to get it all explained in person, and write it down. I took a note book so I remembered everything I wanted to ask.
Whe n I'd your next appointment?
Ahh it's so exciting
