Re: November Buddies
Awww Mrs F :( it's easy for me to say this now I know, but everything will be absolutely fine.
I was thebsame as you and almost turned my car around driving to the hospital.
I really got myself into such a state, thought I would die in theatre and leave my kids without a mum, i worried.about having the anesthetic...everything!!
But looking back I feel such a drama Queen now lol. I think it's only natural to have last minute nerves. We are human afterall and it is life changing (for the better)
What time have you got to go to hospital tomorrow? Are you staying overnight?
I'm doing ok thanks. Had all my dressings off yesterday and they said everything was healing perfectly. My boobs are still rock hard but so pleased with them. I wish I had of done it years ago.
Try not to worry too much lovely. Not much longer to wait now Xx

Re: November Buddies
Yes thats it I feel like Im leaving them. I've been sick twice this morning Im SO worried. I get adrenaline shoots every 10 minutes its so hard to handle. Ive been hugging my babies every 5 minutes like its the last time, Im not coping very well!!
I have to be at the hospital at 7 am tomorrow. So leave my house at 6am.. I have the option to stay overnight but can go home if I want to.
So glad dressings are off and you are happy with it all! What size are you aiming to be? 470hp that will give you amazing boobs !!! x

Re: November Buddies
Hopefully you won't be left waiting until 7pm like I was. I think that made it worse for me, if I had just got there and been taken down straight away I wouldn't have had as much time to freak out-maybe lolMrsF wrote:Yes thats it I feel like Im leaving them. We can all tell you everything will be ok but I know it won't make you feel any better. I think when you have little ones to think about to, people overthink much more as they are their world obviously.
I'd like to be a dd really. Currently wearing an E cup support bra but I'm still quite swollen. I've got the most amazing side boob at the min though haha. Xx

Re: November Buddies
Oops sorry meant how are you feeling now! Amazing you are loving your side boob. 470 should give you a serious humpf ! How many days has it been since your OP? I emailed my surgeon about a sizing question a couple of weeks ago but he never got back to me.... he is really nice and has been very thorough up until now so I just will assume he was swamped and will speak to him tomorrow.
I only have 1 macon and 2 32D shock absorbers sports bra from MxS. I think I will buy an extra macom at the hospital.
Do you think you could have come home the day of the OP had you been operated in the morning or no way you felt too crap and needed 24 hours in hospital? xxx

Re: November Buddies
Yesterday was a really good day. I had dressing off and it felt amazing.
I woke at 3am this morning feeling really sick though. I had slipped down the bed so was laid almost flat on my back where as before that I had been sleeping a.little more propped up and with my v pillow. Today my boobs are not really painful but I feel a bit yucky due to the painkillers making me really constipated (tmi sorry!) I've not been properly since the op last Wednesday.
I'm hoping once they soften up they will have some serious ooomph.. At the minute they are solid and like torpedoes!
What sizing question did you want to ask the surgeon? Are you happy with the size you have picked?
I took with me a maccom and two other sports bras, one 36dd and one 36e which he told me to buy. Told me to go a band size up from my normal nice due to swelling. He wanted me in the cheaper sports bra and not the maccom which I was surprised about. Maybe he will change his mind when I go back on Friday and see him.
I think I would have still liked to have stayed the night in hospital even if my op had of been first thing in the day, just for the reassurance of having the nurses there. I was very light headed after the op for 24 hours. Xx

Re: November Buddies
Hello everyone - I feel a fraud - I am not a November buddy but I just like feeling part of the gang - haha!!! I hope my December buddies will still love me for all my unfaithfulness!!!
Bumble i've been wondering about how you've been - we want your surgery story!! Glad you are loving them already and I'm sure all the nasty side effects will be a distant memory in a few days. i'm not looking forward to all of that but its worth it for the new boobs!
And MRS F!!! Eeeeek - its tomorrow!!!! You must be so excited and nervous all at once. You won't die - don't worry - their children will still have their mummy - just a juicy boobed one instead!!! I can totally imagine how worried you are but you will be fine. I saw Marc yesterday and said I 'knew' you - explained I'd met you on the forum and recomended you get in touch - and he knew who you were - I mentioned your real name. He's so nice and easy to be with - he'll make you feel at ease I'm sure. Was it his nurse you emailed with the question? She's always been so good at getting back to me so maybe she missed it by mistake.
I went to see Marc about possible nipple reduction but he said that it won't save much money doing it at the same time and he thinks they aren't too big and that I should wait and see how things go after the BA and then he can always do the extra surgery under local anasthetic if I do decide to reduce them. I'm hoping the largeness of the new boobs will naturally make the nips look smaller - haha!
oh and re staying overnight - I am going to just because I'll feel more secure there for it anything goes wrong. Plus it will be nice to have a lay in without my little monkeys jumping on me first thing in the morning! Its a little different for you as you have your mum there to help / look after you plus you are going in first thing so you could potentially go home. My admission time isn't until 12 midday so I recon I'll be a late one!
Good luck Mrs F - I'm soooooo excited for you, especially as its with the same surgeon as me. You must promise to keep us updated pretty please!!! Look forward to hearing from the lovely new boobed lady very soon!!! xxx

Re: November Buddies
So pleased you are done and feeling ok Mrs F.
I've been more uncomfortable for the constipation than the surgery I think. I look about 6 months pregnant from all the bloating Haha
Make sure you get lots of rest. Xx
