Feeling a bit down
Hey ladies,
Havent checked in for a while, but I have been lurking in the background and checking the forum everyday!
I'm feeling a bit down with my boobs at the moment. I've put on a teeny bit of weight (just got back from three weeks in Bali!) so feeling a little sluggish and bloated. Plus as my boobs continue to just get softer and settled, I've noticed I've lost A LOT of upper pole. They have settled into a much more natural shape, but as a result I feel like they actually look smaller... I've even been too scared to go and get measured in case they tell me I have in fact gone down in size!
I keep telling myself it's probably just a combination of looking a bit bloated, the dreaded boob greed (I am kicking myself all the time I didn't go bigger), and just being used to them so forgetting what I came from originally. Even so, just didnt expect them to look so much smaller as they settled! I thought it would be the other way round!!
Going to look at my before pics this eve as a pick me up, but even so, can't stop looking at everyones avi's and thinking mine were as big and beautiful!
xx

Sorry to hear your a little unhappy. I understand how you feel. Since the swelling has gone I think mine look smaller and I keep grabbing them to make sure they are still there, now they feel more like mine. Honestly though, they can't actually get smaller. Chin up, healthy few weeks and you'll start to feel better when bloating gone xx

At the risk of sounding unsympathetic [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], your boobs are on my 'wish boobs' list, so I think on!!! You're just having a bad day hun. Boobs or no boobs, none of us feels great when we've overindulged. Eat clean and get some good sleep. Chin up babe xx

Sorry you're feeling down... It's horrible when you're feeling rubbish... I think you're boobs look fab in you're avi... I sometimes feel mine are smaller too and I'm sure it's just a case of being used to them now... And maybe a bit a boob greed too !!.. Doesnt help that I'm constantly looking at them and comparing !! Hi, I do think we get used to the size and forget how they were before. It sounds like your boobs have dropped and this is what the should do. Being bloated don't help either. Go and get measured I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Xxx

Re: Feeling a bit down
Arw thanks ladies, that's really kind of you all to say!
My avi was actually taken about a month back and they've def dropped heaps since then, along with my upper pole!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Bless you both! I feel honored they have made your wish list haha! Very sweet of you to say :) Thanks for your positivity, I deff need to just pull myself together I think and remember what I had before.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Yeah I think they dropped a while ago really! It feels like I've just been waiting for them to soften, and everytime I have a good feel they are just getting softer and softer. I just want my upper pole back haha! Maybe I am just super used to them already...just wish I could go back in time and get the next size up..!

Chin chin to that @blush, although I don't drink at home so I'll join you with a large bag of popcorn. Feeling a little pants, think I've got man flu and as the saying goes, starve a fever, feed a cold so I'll feed my cold as I've no temperature and yes diet can start, errr, Monday :-) xx

Re: Feeling a bit down
I think everyone goes through this to some extent. You get so used to them being high and round, that when you do start to soften and fluff, you miss that overfullness of them. But what you forget is a) they're still the same size, the fullness has just moved elsewhere, and b) you can still get that look back with the right bra.
It's so normal to be a little down about it. Drink some wine, watch some netflix, and then start to get you back to feeling you, you'll soon feel better about them.

Re: Feeling a bit down
Whenever I wonder if mine are small I put on an old bra and realise it doesn't even come close to covering my nipple! We get used to them and forget about them, and in doing so they seem smaller! I bet you're looking fab and just being hard on yourself x

Your avi pic is one of my faves - I think you look fab and you're definitely an inspiration for what I want mine to look like!!
Obviously I've not had a BA yet but great advice from above.

Re: Feeling a bit down
Hey love I hope u are feeling a bit better today? I second what the other girls have said, and have a look at your pre-op photos it will really remind you what a difference your BA has made, it always cheers me up to look at mine. And trying on one of your old bras - I kept a few of mine for just that reason and it's so funny when I try them on and see how little of my boobs they cover! We do get used to our new boobs and that's when they seem smaller as the 'novelty' wears off but they are still the same. Xxx

Re: Feeling a bit down
Hi Blush ! How are you feeling today?
Just so you know.. I had another look at your picture trail and Im adding your boobs to my wish list.
To me, the shape is perfect and the size suits your frame perfectly, Sexy and big but not false and obvious. With a VS push up bra you will easily look like Pamela ! :D
I know that what people say won't change the way you feel but I hope it will help a little.

Re: Feeling a bit down
Ladies, you have actually bought a tear to my eye! I wish I could give you all a hug to say thankyou!
This forum is a special place, it's so great to be able to talk to women all in the same position and going through the same motions!
I am feeling a lot more positive today. Just keep telling myself at the end of the say, the surgeon has given me exactly what I asked for. I asked for a very natural look and a size that be suited to my frame, and not at all obvious. It's funny because at the time, I was adamant I just wanted a modest C cup! And now I'm here moaning my 30E's arent big enough! I think it's because all though they are measuring big, they just don't look it. To the eye they really do just look like C/D cups.
Need to stop comparing myself to these women on the telly and in magazines who I know have also had their boobs done, but they look so much bigger than mine!
I'm flattered by all your lovely compliments, it's so lovely and kind to hear.
Going to get the old bra's out this eve, look at my before pics and have a glass of wine this eve I think! Need a good solid reminder of what they looked like before! Oh, and once the wine's finished finally get my **naughty word** into gear and lose this sluggish post holiday bloat!
Thanks again everyone, xxxxx
