Surgeon had a cancellation! BA brought forward :)
So I had a phone call today asking if I would like my BA brought forward a month to 5th October! Hell yes! Now less than a fortnight til I get some boobs. Exciting!
One question I have - do I have to give up alcohol for a set period before the op? I'm meant to be going on a night out two days before the BA but wondering if I'll be allowed to drink!

Ohhh that's so exciting!!! Not long at all!! I think most places say no drinking 48hrs before the op but some say 2weeks before so you might have to have some Virgin cocktails instead! X

Ahh how exciting! Excellent, I had to go alcohol free for 2 weeks pre-op but every clinic is diff I guess. I was on holiday too but was so excited, it was a fair trade Just give them a bell to check.

Exciting!! The wait is driving me nuts so it must be great to shave some time off!
My surgeon has recommended no alcohol for 2 weeks before and I think 1-2 weeks after!

Awesome news! I've updated your date.
You should take at least two weeks before and two weeks after, alcohol can actually stay in your system a lot longer than you think, and it can effect the anaesthetic. Unofficially, a couple won't kill you, but steer clear to be on the safe side

I just had an email from the surgeon's secretary with some info sheets attached regarding the procedure and what happens after - it's feeling more real now!

So my pre op is all done! Have to pay for the surgery by Monday.
It was my first time at the hospital and it looks nice! And so it should for the price haha.
The nurse was lovely (I don't know why but I keep thinking people will be judgey) and gave me some leaflets to read about the procedure and also the MRSA screening.
10 days to go!
