anyone had smallish impants (240-280cc)?
I currently wear a 34b, really want a natural look. Surgeon is recommending 240cc but I am worried that I might regret not going bigger. Would be having overs, most probably anatomicals.
Has anyone else on here had smallish implants? On all of the sites that I have been on I don't think I have ever really seen anyone having less than 300cc.

Hi [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yes I've got 255cc implants. I want moderate profile so that was largest size I could have based on my breast width. I think they look fairly small but I'm measuring 32E bra size and pre-op I was 32A - so I've gone up 4 cup sizes!! I do wish I could have gone bigger but that just me being greedy! Who will be your surgeon? Xx

The surgeon didn't discuss moderate/high profile etc so I don't really know what this means?...... He measured me & said based on what I wanted to achieve (natural look and maybe a C/D cup) that he would go for 240cc overs, possibly going up to a maximum of 280cc if I wanted bigger.
Surgeon was Stephen McCulley in Nottingham.

Oh so he didn't explain profiles - this relates to how far the implants project outwards, so a low profile implant will give most natural look as it won't 'stick out' that much, whereas if you like the 'fake look' you'd go for high or extra high profile / or if you want a bigger implant. I went for moderate because I wanted a bit bigger than the low profile. I imagine the two different size options he's given you are low profile and moderate profile. Are u seeing him again before your surgery? You could ask to go through this with him, and try the sizers for each sized implant to give u clearer idea. Xx

That's not true, a high profile does not equal a fake look. It's based on the projection of the implant, and your breast width diameter. Think in terms of a bowl and a tumbler. They both can hold the same amount of liquid, but one is wide and flat, and the other tall and slim. Your BWD will dictate what profiles you can have, within a 1cm tolerance. I have a very narrow BWD, so it had to be a slim implant. I have 340 extra high profile, and mine still look nice and natural.

Hello! I had 285cc moderate profile overseas, and I've gone from literally nothing to a 28F/FF. They're not as big as they sound, they look just right. I wouldn't have wanted them any smaller or bigger really. I could have had upto about 380cc I think if I went extra high profile, that size would have been huge on me though! I prob would have ended up like a H cup or something lol making bra shopping just as hard but on the other end of the scale x

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I'm so sorry, I just read back what I wrote and I hadn't intended for it to come across like that. It was totally based on what one or two surgeons had told me (or how I interpreted what they'd explained to me) about profiles / projections). By the time I saw my actual surgeon-to-be I didn't even ask him about different profiles, I just told him I wanted low or moderate. Sorry if I offended anyone with high profiles! Yours do look very natural and I've seen lots of before and afters here that look gorgeous too xxx

Lol, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] don't worry about it! No offence taken, it was purely from an information view! Plus you'd know if you p'd me off, I have the 'ban' button ;)
