XHP impants
If I have a round 430 XHP implant I am bound to get that line at the top of my bust aren't I?
I want a bit of projection, but not the obvious line (stuck on look).

Re: XHP impants
Your consultant will be able to advise for sure but I have xhp unders and have no line at the top of my bust. I made it very clear to my surgeon I didnt want them to look fake. This is why he put them under, as I dont have much breast tissue. I believe if you have enough breast tissue you can have them over and still be ok x

Re: XHP impants
Thanks Laura, so you had Extra High Profile did you? Is that what TRX means?
I'm having unders, just don't know if to go for 430 XHP rounds (he said my nipple might not be dead centre if I have these, lower size is 360, feel might be too small for what I want).
Or 425 XHP anatomical..
I might have looked yeah, will check and will have a look at your pics again thanks.
How you getting on?

Re: XHP impants
Unless you've asked for an obvious stuck on look, you wont get one. Yes, for the first few weeks - couple of months, they will look like this as they will be held so high to your chest. But once they drop, they wont. This has nothing to do with projection.
I have XHP, but unless I give them a good hoiking, I have a natural slope and no line at the top.

You won't get a stuck on look unless you've asked for it... High profile doesn't mean you have a stuck on look, it's all to do with your breast width diameter... You've been offered high as yours must be quite small... Don't worry, many of us have high profiles and it won't give you a fake look at all x

Re: XHP impants
Generally with profiles, the slimmer you are, the higher the profile, so that's that are very slim would generally be given the XHP because the have the smallest Breast Width Diameter.
Because the implant base has to 'fit' your body your surgeon chooses the implant that's best going to do that... So profiles don't make the results extra high, it just applies to the dimentions of the implant and you will have just as natural of a result as a woman with a wider breast width having low profiles would.
Its all about the 'fit' babel xx

Re: XHP impants
Thanks ladies.
I just don't know now whether to go for round or anatomical?
I would defo go for the round if he hadn't mentioned my nipple position. He said that as my lower breast, nipple to crease is only 60mm, he said the measurement of the implant (430cc), 91mm, crease to mid point of implant, may make my nipple a bit lower as not sure if my skin will stretch another 30mm..
I personally think I have stretchy skin and it might not be a prob..
Projection on that implant is 61mm
Where as the anatomical crease to mid point is 79mm so nipple will sit higher than on round. The projection on this is 63mm too (425cc implant)
what would you gals do? I know it has to be my decision but I am interested in your thoughts?

Re: XHP impants
What has your surgeon said his choice would be? Surely he wouldn't say you can have both it's up to you... He would have a preference?
Ild go back and see him again to talk it over... It's not really something we should choose because it's the surgeon who's the expert and knows what is right for you...
Have you seen other surgeons to see what their advice would be?

Re: XHP impants
I don't think I've heard of nipples sitting "lower" post-op hun. Nipple position with a round implant is generally always going to sit in the same position afterwards.
You will get a little lift from an anatomical implant but if you're looking for an implant that will give the nipple a little lift and to keep the fullness that a round can give, then maybe discuss conical implants with your surgeon. These are great for very slim ladies and will give your nipple the little lift you might want but also give you the natural look you're after but also with the upper pole option you can have with a round implant also. Xx

Re: XHP impants
changed my avi to pre op!
Yes I have seen others. All but 1 said rounds and so did Hassan when I met with him and he had seem me in the flesh.
But when we spoke on the phone late last week. I said that I really didnt want the stuck on look, but did want upper pole. He then mentioned about nipple position with the round and suggested Anatomical as he felt it would have better nipple position.
Maybe I need to talk with him again. Or ask him to order both round and anatomical for the day? x

Re: XHP impants
Ask him about the conical implant too if he feels your nipple could do with a little lift. These implants are great for that and from what you've said on here seem like the perfect compromise. Xx
Re: XHP impants
Yes I will. Thanks.
Although just googled conical implants in the brand he uses Polytech and not sure they do a conical? x

Re: XHP impants
There are polyeurothane conicals
I just looked at the polytech catalogue and think they're the 'Replicon' but not sure, they could be the 'Opticon'? So there are other options available to you with a round base but an anatomical projection. Xx

Re: XHP impants
So not an anatomical implant then. Anatomicals have an oval base babe. So your surgeon must be talking about the conicals
Re: XHP impants
It's called an anatomical round base on the polytech info and website x

Re: XHP impants
Yes my ps described mine as round anatomicals too, a bit confusing but they're a different shape to conicals xx
