sports bra for rice test
Hi girls,
I did a few rice test experiments (much to the amusement of my husband!) last night. I'm liking anything between 350 & 400cc but it's so hard to tell and I'm not sure how accurate it is! I just used a little tight crop top thing I've got. Do I really need to buy a sports bra? Just seems like a waste of money. Just wondered how important it is to do the test with a proper one and what size / type to buy.
It mentions on surgeons notes that he wants u to bring the bra to the 2nd consultation.
Xxx

Re: sports bra for rice test
I did mine with a cheapie tshirt bra from asda, in the size I thought I'd come out (36C). You can see my rice test journey here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Some girls find it quite accurate, others don't. I think more girls starting from zero have better results than those with boobs to begin with. It sounds like your surgeon wants you to bring a bra in the size you want to be. But that's almost impossible. The size you go should be a conversation between you and your surgeon, as what you want to achieve may not be physically possible, and your surgeon needs to put some boundaries on that.

I agree with what [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has said, and yes try the rice test, Asda sell sports bras for approx £5 - £6?
But I didn't really like it personally.
Even the 325 felt weird on me and really big (and I had 375cc!)
But in rice it just felt odd!
If you like the look of the 350 - 400 implant, try them on in clinic..and maybe even try one larger, say the 410/425.
I would say find the one you definetley DO NOT want as it 'feels' too big and go for the size 1 implant smaller.
I tried on 350 and 375 and loved them.
But then spent the weeks leading up thinking, 'wonder what a 400 would look like'? But never tried it....so I then had a mad stressful dash back to clinic for a size appoint again!
So make use of your time trying them all on. AND TAKE PICS
And if the size you want fits and is safe for your frame, go with it.

Re: sports bra for rice test
Thanks so much girls - that's really helpful. I'm starting pretty much off with nothing. I measure 30b but wear a 32a and don't even fill that! I'll buy a cheap sports bra in asda. Thanks for the advice - really helps - will make sure I take pics at the consultation Xx
