Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Ive one boob a lot bigger than the other and the left one has no fullness to the bottom just a wonky slope upward the right one is a good shape but I think the nipple has been placed too high as every bra I buy it pops out the top also when I push them up and together I don't get the lovely round cleavage I get this wierd v shape that has random bumps my pics are on picture trail if anyone wants to tell me to stop being paranoid lol or if I should make an appointment to see the surgeon input from fellow uplift ladies would be greatly received xx

I think the pure fact that you're worried means you should have a chat with your surgeon. Get it down in writing. He'll likely say give it another 6m to settle, but at least then you've got it down that you brought up your worries earlier

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Went today to see Mr sofoza and as soon as I took my shirt off my right nipple was saying hello so he could see the problem straight away he said my lefty is smaller than my right but hasn't settled fully yet as the horizontal scar is still tight and it should settle more he said my right looks like it will need some skin taking out from the bottom to tighten it and slightly pull the nipple down and to make an appointment in dec for jan so he can see me again and if things aren't any better he will book me in for surgery in February when it will have been a yr :-) so all in all I'm quite happy as there will be no charge to sort it out. Do you think taking more skin out is there answer though as I read one post on here where a lady had a smiler thing and doing another mini lift wasn't the answer but I've already had the anchor lift so will it be different for me ? Thats good to hear he could immediately see what the problem was. It sounds like he knows what he's taking about. Most surgeons will wait a year to see a more settled result, but at least he has a plan in place for if it hasn't. I wouldnt know if its the right answer or not, but I hope it all turns out ok without the additional surgery!

Glad you have got a plan put in place to sort things for you should you need it once everything has had time to heal & fully settle. I don't think its uncommon in the case of uplift with implants for some minor tweeks to need doing, I'm sure you'll be just fine.

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Thanks mirren I hope so too, When I was looking into having it done Charlii I had initially booked with another surgeon at the hospital group but my advisor said she'd had hers done by Mr sofoza and he was head of the department and also did teaching in the field so I changed to him he is a nice chap too but each time I've gone in with my fella and found that he has a tendency to tell him what's going to happen rather than look at me. I'm just glad he could see what I was seeing and didn't brush me off I'd rather not have more surgery but if I have to I have to xx

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
I could cry really I could I've just showered and found a pea sized lump in my left breast its not near the implant or any scar tissue it's hard and moves about so I can't pin point exactly. I suffer with blocked glands all over so I'm hoping it is just another one. Luckily I've a doctors appointment for something else in the morning so I'll ask the doctor to take a look tomorrow not feeling happy tonight

If it's pea sized and easily moves, it's very likely a gland, but at least you can get it checked asap. Let us know it's ok!

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Well got the doc to check it and she says its most likely nothing to worry about but with all lumps they have them checked out within 2weeks so I've an appointment at the breast clinic on the 2nd sept.i know this seems a silly thing to worry about but If I have to have a biopsy do you think it will affect the warranty on my implants? X

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Wouldn't think it would affect the implant warranty as biopsy is of the breast tissue & most often done with a needle.
Glad you are having it checked out soon & hopefully as your G.P says it will most likely be nothing to worry about.

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Well good news had scans and biopsy taken and the initial diagnosis a Fibroadenoma so good news the bad news is it was right next to my implant and the device that takes the biopsy is kind of shot into the lump the nurse was quite reassuring that all would be ok but said there was a risk the implant could be punctured. As far as I'm aware all went well I go back in two weeks for my results. The thing is I've been having a feel and it now feels softer than the other one so now I'm left wondering if she's punctured it or if it's just because it's swollen. X

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
Glad to hear your lump is nothing to be concerned about, that must be a Huge relief for you!
If the nurse is confident all went well with the biopsy could be as you say be feeling different due to swelling, keep an eye on it , perhaps your surgeon may be able to have implant checked for you?

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
I'd give it a week for swelling to go down around the biopsy sight, but it might be worth requesting a scan or something to check it out.

Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
The reliefs is amazing and It feels more normal this morning the implant feels a bit firmer than it did last night and I go back to get my results from the breast clinic in a fortnight so was thinking I could ask them to scan as they did the biopsy and she said if she punctuated it it would be there responsibility to do something about it. Re: Wonky boobs am I being over dramatic
I went back for my results two weeks later and they couldn't give me any as the tissue taken wasn't from the lump so I had to have another biopsy and scan but this time the main woman did it and used a different method she also showed me the implant after and pointed out the layers of the capsul that forms round the implant it was really strange to see the 3 layers of the implant it's self too A week later the results finally came back and I got the all clear. On the reason for this post I'm finding my right breast is really sagging now I can't wait for December so I can make an appointment to have the revision surgery in January.im wishing my life away lol x
