Hey girls!

I've updated picture trail with a few more photos of week 2. Have added photos of my scars too. If anyone who hasn't already asked for my details wants them.. just let me know!

Had my two week post op assessment today.  All good.. scars are healing good and have been given the go ahead to sleep on my side but unfortunately for me I can't even lay flat yet without feeling uncomfortable. I so wish I could! ! Also allowed to use bio oil on my scars now.

I've stopped using my macom today as it's starting to get a little uncomfortable where my nipples are sore and bought a mega comfy £6 sports bra from ASDA. It's bliss!  (The one in my AVI) I've also ordered a belvia bra.

Finally.. what a difference a week makes! Feeling so much better! Mornings are a bit iffy still.. and boob greed has well and truly set in (boo) but keep reminding myself that although I haven't got the biggest boobies in the world.. atleast now I have something! !

Xx

Hey hun, just popped on and had a look, there looking a  lot less swollen, but even now you can see there still tight, the muscle is still holding onto them, honestly once that settles you will see such a difference.

That bra looks mega comfy, and I got nothing but good things to say about the belvia, there great.
Mine look the best in just a lightly padded t shirt bra. Look huge in clothes then! Few  ore weeks and you will do the same. 400 isn't a small implant, you will be DD or more I reckon, my DD already looks a bit tight...xx

Thanks lovely!

Yes definitely less swollen.. I actually had a lot of room in my macom this morning but last week I had to wear bra extenders! Yep definitely tight! They're as solid as a rock

Ah can't wait for it to arrive! Ah I hope so!! I was aiming for a 32DD based on photos I'd seen before my BA. Maybe they might look bigger when they are softer and less 'high'

Thanks again lovely xx

Hi @Kay1519 good to hear that you're starting to feel brighter. Can you let me know how you like the Belvia when you get it. I've wanted to by some Genie bras (I thought they would be good to sleep in once I've healed post BA) but they seem to be being discontinued. I can't seem to find them anywhere in a small (ish) size anyway. Some reviews of the Belvia say they are a bit on the thin side. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] can I ask if you can wear your Belvia under t-shirts without seeing your nipples through them? Thanks girls, I'm trying to stick up now with things I might need x

I have the genie and belvia, both similair and no, can't see nipples through. The asda one that Kay is wearing is very similair, and they do some nicer colours too. My mum has a peach and grey striped one, looks nice as a change from white or skin tone colour.

The genie and belvia are very comfy and give you a little support, but nowhere nr as much as say, a proper his impact sports bra.
The belvia is more about comfort, I love mine.

Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that's a great help. I've just seen that the belvia bras are on sale at Debenhams half price (19.99 for a pack of 4) if anyone's interested :-) x

Hello!
Glad your post op appointment went well!
I remember thinking that each week you feel SO much better.. Even day by day :)
Getting into a more comfy bra is amazing. I remember when I put a 'Royce' on and it was just shear bliss!

2 weeks is too early to apply anything to the scars. Massive chance of infection. I would wait at least 8-12 weeks. I was told 12 by my surgeon - just don't want you to get an infection :( xx

some people seem to think it's ok.
But... We've seen it on here before where someone started to use bio after 2 weeks and got an infection :(anyway, unless your scars are bright coloured or lumpy it shouldn't be needed :)
May I take a look please? Xx
