3 month checkup, had the all clear!
Well ladies, I was up at 6am, on the tube by 7am, in Birmingham by 10am, at the clinic by 10:30am, and by 10:45am I was back out the door lol. Talk about quick!
To be fair though it couldn't have gone better. She was really pleased with the result, said everything was perfect and as it should and took some pics. Regarding the little lumps I can feel on my incisions, that's just the stiches which will dissolve over the next 9 months. You just have to leave them to it, but I've bought a fab little oil to massage them with that will help. Going to use the oil over my breasts too, she said they'll still be pretty firm as I had such little skin before the skin really had to stretch. The full on softeness will just get better and better over the next 6-12 months.
The scars are looking good but still red/pink. Just going to massage this oil into them twice a day and wait for them to fade.
Overall she was super pleased, and the best news...NO MORE SPORTS BRA'S BABY!!!!!!
You are all cordially invited to my burning ceremony...
She said I am now free to wear wires, go bra-less etc and just stick to the sports bra for exercise. I think I'm gonna have to take to wires again gradually, so going to wear a soft t-shirt bra and a non wired bra to get back into it. Also got a lovely soft yoga style sports bra to wear at night.
Happy bunny! Hello boobies!!! xx
