Post by Arlines 14th June 2015, 11:01 am

Hello girls

Im starting to feel sooo down as it really does seem raising 4k is harder than thought when I have big bills coming out.
Ive wanted a boob in for 16yrs when I stopped developing im completely flat chested and haven't got a good credit rating. I hate being flat chested I don't even go swimming.

Ive even considered surgery abroad due to lack of funds.

Could someone please give me advice im so desperate to get them done and feel like a woman.
Any ideas to raise funds? Or could someone please tell me about abroad surgery if you or anyone has had it done? Best place to go and prices?

I can't afford UK 4k prices but I also don't want to put myself at risk?

Anywhere cheaper in the UK?

Thanks girls xxxx

I would avoid going anywhere abroad like the plague. Not because there is not good surgeons anywhere else but the UK am quite sure that there are but aftercare is so important and if you suffer a serious complication you will end up under the care of the NHS who trust me ( having seen this in A and E where some poor girl arrived with her nipple in her hand!) will treat the immediate problem and explant . You will then be ££ down and no boobs with added complications for good measure you could well end up looking far worse than you started.
There are cheaper providers in the UK NU cosmetics for example has a couple of really good surgeons working for them and they have special 3k offers sometimes but you need to be aware that a BA isn't a once in lifetime surgery usually , you are going to require further surgery plus what happens if you need further work done. I paid 4.7K in 2013 i have just had an uplift and another BA yes i got a great deal my surgeon looked after me well but it was more money i had to spend . You would need to start saving as soon as you had surgery for your next lot really. I plan on keeping my current ones for around the next 8-10 years then downsizing to anatomicals will probably need another lift then too . Once you begin on the treadmill its very very difficult to get off.

Im not meaning to sound negative i totally understand what it feels like , i used to lie in the bath and cry at my sagging ball in a sock boobs but fixing them is a financial commitment for life .

3k and BAAPS surgeons!
Not sure about new birkdale never head of them i wouldn't have a surgeon that isn't BAPPS/BAPRAS registered but thats not to say that others can't get you a good result to. Just be careful that you can afford the "upkeep" long term its not a find 3k and forget about it forever surgery unfortunately.

You really can't put a price on these things. Cheap surgery tends to be cheap for a reason. Less skilled surgeons, little to no aftercare...you need to be really careful when looking at these offers. I know sometimes it feels like you have to do this right now, but it is absolutely worth the time to wait and save. Is a loan or a credit card an option at all?

Amy is right though, a BA isn't a one and done. You'd be looking at a re-do at least every 10yrs or so, and that's if you have a good run of them. You may get sagging or they might change somehow and you'll want them redone sooner. So it's never just 4K.

I went for a consultation a The New Birkdale in Liverpool and I knew I would hate it as soon as I pulled in the car park. I still went in, but my instinct was right. I had to fill on loads of paperwork before I even saw the surgeon. The implants they use are called eurosilicone for the £2500 and they told me they were only guaranteed for 3 years!! You can upgrade to allergan or nagor but that's another £2k.
I'm sure they are fine for lots of people but they weren't for me.
This is a massive operation and so important you find the surgeon that's right for you, not just based on price.
I know that's hard as when you've made you're mind up you want to do it but you've been waiting this long, even if if takes a few more years to save up and find the right surgeon, I 100% guarantee the wait will be worth it xx

Nooooo don't go budget. 4k is still a lot of money and after that you risk not bring happy.  Spend 3995 first time and ended up with cuis which are fine but the budget range. I hated the look, the feel. They were lumpy as they were part fill and I developed cc within a few months. I then paid the extra 1100 to swap to anatomical 410s and they are soft, no wrinkling perfect shape for me and am v happy.

Honestly, I can guarantee you'll be more unhappy with fake boobs that are cheap and will in the long run likely to cause you problems than having small real boobs and carrying on saving up.

You really cant put a price on it, it's such an emotionally fraught journey anyway so you really need to put a decent amount of money aside to guarantee you are getting the results, aftercare and quality of surgeon. Another 6 months of saving is nothing compared to the upset that might be caused by doing this cheaper. I paid under £5k, if all fails you can always look into taking out a loan perhaps?

Surgicare were doing ba for less than 3k a while ago. You need to look around. I know spire and thg are expensive. I second everyone that explained the risk of ba abroad. If you dont have much money and deveop complications that would be dire. In hindsight
