Bra's
Hey all
I know I haven't been on much since having my BA, I'm 7weeks post op today and still haven't been properly fitted yet lol
Just wondering what sort of bra am I allowed? and when is it usually that you can have a nice underwire one?
Thanks ladies, hope you're all well <3

Hi hope you are well, you will need the go ahead from your surgeon about under wired but it also depends on what instruction has been given! Ie sports bras etc. you can buy nice non wired bras from most department stores. What has your surgeon said ? Xx

Re: Bra's
Depends entirely on your surgeons instructions. It can be anywhere between 6-12wks. I'd give them a call to double check. Also, bear in mind that just because you're allowed doesn't mean you can. A lot of girls find they have to break themselves back into wires, wear them for a little each day and build up the time, as oppose to immediately full days.

I havent been measured yet either :( Desperate to find out but it's finding the time after a busy working week! Hoping I can finally go this weekend! I cant wear wires until the 3 month mark. But as Charlii says, I think it'll be a gradual thing as you get used to the feeling of wires. xxx

Re: Bra's
When I was allowed to wear wires, I wore a bra for a hour to start. I live in the Freya soft cup, and still wear sports bra at night. The Freya bra has no wires x x

Re: Bra's
I message the surgeon and see what he says! Thanks ladies! I hadn't even thought about needing to get use to underwires again in all honesty lol x
