Maybe give them a call in your lunch break, make it a top priority if its making you so unhappy? They can't ignore a phone ringing constantly...

Do keep at them, like Charli has said call them non stop & don't let them fob you off.
Makes me so angry that  they haven't got the decency to reply making the situation so much more stressful for you than it needs to be, if you were new & looking to have an op I'm sure you would have them bending over backwards for you!
Hope you get some where with them soon, let us know how you get on. Hug
