Post op bra help please
Ok, so I'm home from hospital today.
I'm wearing a 34d/dd royce but the band feels too tight. I bought a large macom (36 chest) but the boobs part doesn't seem right on that at all. I have a 34d m&s sports bra that seems to fit perfect but when I tried it on I caught one of my incisions and made it bleed a little so I'm scared of putting that on again because of the seams. Dunno what else to do.
I could order another royce with a larger band but it wouldn't be here till Monday, would the swelling have gone down a bit by then?
Any suggestions anyone please? x

Re: Post op bra help please
If the royce is Bach fastening you could use an extender to make it bigger and more comfortable. Marks and Sparks sell them for a about a fiver for three x

Re: Post op bra help please
It's not hun, the royce is a a front fastener with poppers, otherwise that would have been a perfect solution x

Re: Post op bra help please
That's because your boobs are sitting high and you don't fill out the bottom of the bra. All normal xx

Re: Post op bra help please
I only had the back fastening m&s one on for 30 seconds when I saw a spot of blood from my incision.... It came straight off, maybe next week I will be able to wear that. Think I might just stick with the royce and just leave the bottom popper unfastened. It's so hard to guess the fit when your boobs have no feeling, no idea if it's too tight or not, all I know is it's crushing my ribs when I sit down lol xanneritchley wrote:There was no way I could have managed with a back fastning bra. Re: Post op bra help please
I would try wearing it for a while, it will mould to your shape and give you the support you need whilst being more comfortable round the band area. Or maybe wear the m&s one but put a panty liner or pad on the area where it rubbed before, just make sure to put the sticky side on the bra not your skin X

I've been and put the Macom on for a bit, see how I get on with it, it's not as soft as the Royce but at least I can breathe lol.dling1 wrote:I would try wearing it for a while, it will mould to your shape and give you the support you need whilst being more comfortable round the band area. I would get an extender and wear it with the m&s one.

I've got extenders [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but the seam is right where my incision is, think it will be fine in a couple of days to wear one of those though x

Re: Post op bra help please
I'm using a Macom 34 back on loosest clips and feel I'm spilling out of it but it's comfy on my incisions I also gave a Royce super comfy but a size 36 f but bought off eBay and lady said she was a 32dd after her op and fits really well I also use a shock absorber in a 34e which fits great but is back fastened and needs extenders on all good fun hope you find the right fit soon as it's a worry with incisions x

Yeh I think I'm gonna invest in a bigger sized royce, I know it's expensive but I'd give anything right now for just 1 that feels comfy on my stange shaped boobs and keeps my incisions safe x
