Small Hematoma?
Hey ladies,
I had a little trip to wales and had very very bad signal so haven't been able to update.
So Day 11/12 I noticed bad bruising quickly appearing around the base of my right implant, at first I didn't overly think too much into it but next day it did look worse so I Emailed the clinic with pics and they passed it onto the surgeon who thinks one of my blood vessels had opened back up pooling blood into my right boob. As I'm not in any pain and boob hasn't gone hard, I'm just keeping an eye on it and it should self settle in 2-3weeks.
Likely down to the fact I've done too much too soon and hadn't realised I had been overdosing on vit E for the last two weeks and apparently vit E is a blood thinner. I had no idea!
Fingers crossed this all settles and heals it's self! Just wondering who else has been in this predicament?

Re: Small Hematoma?
Sorry to hear this has happened hun! At least it can clear up by itself and nothing serious. Yeah I was told to stop taking Vit E and it's compounds for 2 weeks before and 3 weeks after surgery. Surprised they didnt mention it to you!
Hope you are doing ok, I've been wondering where you are :) xxx

Fingers cross that it does sort itself out.
Have you been taking arnica at all? I wonder if that may clear it up quicker but ASK YOUR SURGEON!
I really hope it clears up quickly and he's do take it easy!!! X

Re: Small Hematoma?
Hey ladies, yeah didn't help my laptop hard drive had died as well. They had told me to stop taking blood thinners, I didn't know Vit E was >< It was in my multi vits and in my hair, nail skin sups so was taking 200% a day for the last two weeks after surgery! Obviously I've stopped my hair nail sups now and yeah I'm taking Arnica to help quicken up the healing.
I'm in no pain, just looks bruised. I'll try get a pic of my boob later and put up on Pic Trail the pic I sent surgeon a few days ago and tonights boob, Hubs convinced it's starting to look better already.

Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I've uploaded a comparison pic to pic trail, top two pics were the pics I sent surgeon about a day or two after I noticed my boob going very bruised, and bottom two are tonight about 3 days after the first pics
