Have we all had what we wanted? Please answer :)
Hey girls,
Ive been thinking about boobs.....you know, as usual lol and I wondered if we all had had what we really wanted?
Let me explain, I really like big boobs, like BIG boobs! But I had a few obstacles....chest width being one, I could only fit certain implants, well, with my surgeon anyway. Also, I guess me being sensible took over a bit too. I figured something that matched my frame would be better in the long run, also less back pain, less unwanted attention, less chance of having to have a lift at a later date.
All these things played a big part in y decision.
If I had more money and stuff I probably would have gone the biggest I could, without worrying that in maybe 5 years that wouldn't suit me anymore and I could fix it.
Did anybody else have this kind of thought trail, or even the opposite in thatyou wanted small implants but went a bit bigger because you paid for them, or were worried it might not be worth it at a smaller size?
Our stories really interest me so I would love it if you would just give a little answer :)

I'm the same as you Jen, I couldn't go any bigger due to chest width. But sometimes I wish I could of gone slightly bigger.
I'm still very happy and they suit my frame perfectly, I wonder in 10+ years when we have them redone we'll go bigger lol x x

I agree, im totally happy and made the right decision for me and my current situation for sure. If I have to have them redone or choose to for whatever reason, probably age, I think I would have anatomical, or even conical but go bigger slightly. I could be an F cup quite happily lol x

I went into this all quite naively. I didn't find this place until it was too late, so made ALL the big no's - only saw one surgeon, went in asking for a size, and just generally agreeable to whatever he said. Thinking I was a 36, I went in asking for a nice C, or anything really, I just want the boobs that my body was meant to have. We agreed on 340 and 375 being ordered, and that the choice would be a) up to me on the day and b) what he could safely fit. If I recall, I think I said let's go with the bigger, and honestly, I'm relieved it didn't fit.
Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE my boobs. They are perfect for me, and suit my body shape and size perfectly (340 round xhp). But, if I got to go back to the start knowing what I know now...I think maybe I'd have gone a little smaller. Still round xhp, but probably more 300, so a D instead of DD/E. Several reasons really. First, so I could buy off the shelf bras! Supermarkets are cheap and pretty and not in my size! Other things too like practicality. They're totally in the way if I want to paint my toenails. Plus having to really strap them down for exercise, which is fine now I've found the right bra, but again a smaller size would open up more options for me. I'm not saying in 10yrs when I need a redo I'd go uplift and smaller, if I can get away with it I'll stick with the same. But in hindsight, I'd have reduced those couple of CC's. And likely if I'd seen more surgeons, I might have been more informed about it.

Not long till your holiday hun, I bet you can't wait? I tried running the other day but my boots were bouncing everywhere. I was wearing a shock absorber run high impact bra as well. What would you recommend?
Yeah it's a nightmare trying to find bras, I'm struggling finding a strapless bikini at the moment for my holiday to Egypt in June x x

I'm counting the hours, I cannot wait! The weather forecast has changed too from afternoon thunderstorms to abundant sunshine!
I now swear by the panache wired sports bra, it really makes all the difference. I was in the triumph triaction before, which was fine, but this is sooo much better. You get it to fit firm as normal, then clip the racer back in for extra stability. They're about £38, but you can find the odd sizes on sale.
For bikinis, try figleaves and surfdome. I've a couple of old matalan strapless ones that I had pre op that hubs now loves post! But haulter shape suits me better. Surfdome has huge choice and a fab returns policy. You can usually get cashback on quidco too!

Loving this conversation! Makes me excited for when I finally get some boobies :-). Hoping to have the surgery in August if I can find the right surgeon(!!) and we have a beach holiday booked for late December so hoping 4 months will be long enough healing time to then be able to wear attractive swimming costumes (bikinis are out for me as my tummy is ruined from 3 pregnancies :-/. Xxx

Re: Have we all had what we wanted? Please answer :)
I thought what you wrote Charlii is very interesting. I started out my journey much the same, thinking a nice c/d to balance me out and just a little to make me feel more womanly.
I tried the sizers on and was happy with the 325 and the 350.
But since coming on these forums, now im thinkin anything less than 400cc would be a waste of money as bigger is better, and since im tall and size 12 with shoulders as well, maybe I do need a larger cc?
Although I know this really ISN'T the case, and isn't how I PERSONALLY think anyway (that bigger is better I mean)! But going into this, it gets a little obsessive.
I love coming on here and reading etc, but do end up feeling more confused over the size.
I can't sleep some nights thinking 'mmm, 350cc, 400cc or 450cc?'
I need to just remember why I started my journey, and go with what I originally decided....as boob greed seems to take over my mind and it gets a bit silly lol!
lmao.

It's very interesting reading this; I myself sometimes feel like I'm getting swept away with boob greed. first I wanted a nice D/DD which has now turned into maybe more of a DD/E ... or Just a good E... lol Then I have to try grounding myself and remembering, I'm only small, into fitness etc and don't want to look stupid and all boob... while looking like I have big boobs still.. Looking at every ones different sized implants and every ones varied result certainty can lead to confusion lol.

Twinky I remember saying exactly the same as you've just said when I was pre op! It's easy to get carried away! Even now I look at big boobs sometimes with envy but then I have to remind myself that wasn't what I personally wanted and wouldn't have felt comfortable with! I happy with my result but if I were doing it again I would switch to moderate profile instead of high so perhaps meaning slightly less ccs.

Zum you will be fine so long as you focus on the look, not the cup size! You avi is at least e, more like an f/ff! Don't worry about the numbers!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yeah I thought she was an E/F but wasn't sure if she just seemed bigger because her toned muscle look. I've made a picture doc of all the boobs I like so surgeon knows what I want =)

Re: Have we all had what we wanted? Please answer :)
My story is similar to Charli went with 1st surgeon I had consultation with ( found this site just before op), was BAPRAS registered & also worked as a consultant within NHS doing reconstructive breast surgery though,so took that as a good reference.
I didn't want big boobs , just boobs & surgeon said he would use a sizer implant during surgery to decide which size of implant would fit best the range being from 325 - 375, I ended up with 345 tsf.
I am happy with my boobs in bras & clothing but naked I feel they are abit full at the top & not as full under the nipple as I would like ( this is the perfectionist in me being over fussy! ...lol & had these boobs been the ones I was naturally gifted with I wouldn't have considered changing them) this gives the illusion of my nipples looking slightly lower & think next time round I will have consultations looking to go for either anatomical or conical implants.
Hopefully these boobs with last for a long time before I have to consider what to do next but from being on here I have now a list of at least 2 surgeons I will be considering when they need done again.

I was limited by tuberous breasts and a bwd of only 10.5. I have now obviously forgotten the emma who did not want big boobs, just nicely shaped ones with lots of lower pole and ones that didn't make me look dumpy as I'm 5.2. I actually really now wish I was a bit bigger. The first ba has stretched out my boobs so I could probably go bigger now, I have a broad rib cage and feel slightly bigger would suit me better. I do however have perky boobs with high nipples and loads of lower pole, hopefully post Thursday no signs of tuberous either will remain. I would suggest to all girls going in to this asking for cup size please be careful because the media has completely skewed our view of size. I am a DD which believe me really is not big xx

Same here! I asked for a full C , am now measuring 30E/F depending on bra , don't look too big but big enough for me, would have had kittens pre op had surgeon suggested I would be my resulting size.

When I see my surgeon I think he's going to be shocked how big I'm measuring lol, yes same here asked for a D measuring 30E. In clothes I look the same if I would of had one of my old padded bras on, but saying that some of my tops don't fit me now x x

I agree with the comments above, I think this is such a great thread!!
I honestly thought my new boobs would be high, square and feel really alien.. I didn't expect to love them at first sight. They look high but as if I'm wearing a push up bra so I can wear my normal clothes in a thin post op bra and not feel like anyone looks or a weird shape.. Really glad!
So.. so far yes exactly what I want.. But very early days :) xx

Emmapinder, wotever size you are, they are perfect.
are you happy with them?
I always though aC/ D would be good for me, but a large D / E would be super nice
