implants slide to the side
Do all you ladies notice that your implants fall to the sides when laying on your back? Mine seem to slide to the point my gap is wide enough to put my palm down flat in between. I absolutely hate it...is this normal?
I can not possibly imagine getting intimate with someone like this because they are also still very visibly round and the edges can be felt. The entire implant noticeably shifts when I nudge it. Will fluffing address this, or is this normal?
It is so so obvious I have implants when you feel them...I never expected them to feel quite so apparent. I guess I sort of thought that in time they would sort of melt into your own tissue so they would become unnoticeable? Will they always feel so 'implanty' (!) ??
Xx

Re: implants slide to the side
Hi, mine look like a boob job when I lie flat, but otherwise they are squishy and look natural and bounce . With natural boobs when you lie down , mine used to fall to the side, but they kind of don't now and when I lie flat the stand up. I used to feel the top edge of my implant before the dropped. Perhaps your boobs haven't dropped yet? Xxxx

Re: implants slide to the side
It's normal for them to fall to the side a bit Hun, if you've had unders you think your chest stretches out when you lay down and overs your natural boobs fall to the side also.
I have a gappy cleavage it's only in a bra or if I push them together they create a cleavage.
You're only 2 and half months in, it CAN take up to a year to get them to feel completely squishy and natural.
Around the 6 month mark you will see and feel a diffrence but it can take a year.

Re: implants slide to the side
I think I've dropped....if that means they've settled in the pockets? But if it means the D shape becomes less prominent then I definitely haven't...they still hold the implant shape from the side. Is the fluffing process the losing of the upper pole, or is that the dropping process? Aagggh I have a head full of boob stuff now that I've started to forget what things actually are now!
I hope once they settle and blend in, they won't look like 2 things stuck on when they go to the side....I'm already dreading sunbathing in May when I should have been excited about bikini season grrrr!

Re: implants slide to the side
They're definitely softer than when they were first put in, but still noticeably firm. Will they always remain firm? For some reason I just sort of imagined they would end up feeling like real boobs....although I can't say I've actually felt many, if any(!), real boobs so god only knows what my perception of real boobs feel like! x

Re: implants slide to the side
Mine still feel firmer than real boobs, I don't think they will entirely feel like real boobs. As long as they are soft and jiggle that's ok by me. Xxx

Re: implants slide to the side
Dropping is into pocket, fluffing is D to b shape! Mine fall to the side when I'm lying down with quite a large gap, but I think that's normal. Just gravity! There's plenty of softening yet to come, but they will feel different lying down. Like, if I'm upright or bent forward, they're squishy and jiggly . But if I'm lying down, all the muscle and skin is taught, so they feel much firmer.

One of the surgeons I saw said over the muscle will fall to the side like natural boobs but under the muscle will "stay put" x

Mine don't fall to the sides either (unders) and fake boobs will always be a bit firm and never feel like real boobs, but they will improve x

Re: implants slide to the side
Surgeons tend to say a lot of overly generalised things. What happens to one woman won't for another. It'll be down to your anatomy. But unless they're actually in your armpits, it's not a worry!

Re: implants slide to the side
I'm unders...they def widen when I lay! Thanks Charlie! For some reason I feel like you are my boob twin haha! I think I'll be a 6 mother like you!
I always imagined not telling a future partner about them unless it ever came up...but right now I can't see how they wouldn't know!
But using charliis description, they've def dropped...just no sign of fluffing yet. I can be patient then if I know that's still to come and these 2 in their current form isn't what I'm going to be left with ;)
Thanks as always ladies! X

Re: implants slide to the side
Mine are as Charli describes soft & squishy when up right or bending over, lying down they do fall slightly to the sides & are firmer to touch as natural breast tissue covering implants distribution changes when you lie down making implant more palpable.
Being early post op you still have lots of positive changes to happen & come summer are going to love those fab boobs & being able to fill your bikini's X
