Continual dull ache/pain 2 yrs on
Hi lovies:giveu:
I havent been on here for a while..so lots of catching up to do! ..the reason i am back on is because I have been feeling alot of pain on my right side...it feels like my rib but its just as the implant starts/ends whichever is correct...has anyone had this? I mean we all feel aches and pains but this is like over a week at the same spot and sports bra and lots of rest and it hasnt subsided..I have booked my normal gp by next week friday to see and go from there...
But just wondering if anybody else has had this?
I have also updated my picturetrail for those addicts/ellites whom might be interested in having a peek how the boobies are doing after 2 yrs from circumareolar mastopexy
Any ideas what this could be ladies..before i stress myself silly ...

Welcome back bouncy, good to see you, you had unders, sometimes if you've pulled a muscle it can ache for a while after as the muscle is weak where it's been split.
Have you got yourself back in a sports bra to keep it stable?

If you're back in the sports bra and its still there, it might not be the implant. I think that's our automatic go to if we have a chest/torso pain, it must be the implant! Have you had a bump, or a particular hard work out? I think you're right to go to the gp, but if it continues I'd book in to the clinic too

I had this and it went on it's own. It has come back a couple of times for a day or 2, but not on it's own. Your GP will just tell you it's muscular more than likely. Ps (not my ps, a different one as my ps has left the clinic) said it's either start of CC, my implants getting too heavy for my frame over the years or normal muscular pain.

Hi Hun, sorry to hear you're having problems. Could it be hormonal? I've noticed my boobs get achy and a bit sore before I'm due on, I never got this when I had my natural 'ironing board' chest. I don't get it every month but it is noticeable when it happens. It might be worth making a note of dates when it happens x

I'd definitely get in with your surgeon. Get your worries written down. I went back because I have aches in my left boob, and its not pin-pointable, e.g. its not because Im going braless, its not from running. I also have this weird 'crunchy' feeling when I move it sometimes. Saw my surgeon, we decided to get an ultrasound to make sure there was nothing going on in there. Im convinced mine is that its not adhered to the pocked properly. But like you, it comes and goes. I just had about 3wks pain free, but then it came back.
Discuss it with your surgeon, and try to make a plan to investigate. Its all you can do really unless you're prepared to live with it.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Do you know what they can do if the implant hasn't adhered to the pocket correctly?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] So sorry to hear your having problems, def sounds like you need to visit your ps for advice. Good luck Hun.

Well speaking with Cookie, she told me that she knew one other girl, and after a straight swap replacement, it was all fixed, so if I do take that step, that's where i'll be headed. But for me it's a big question right now, can I live with it vs putting myself through it again with just one breast, with the possibility of making it worse or they don't look as good. I love them, its just this one thing, so can I hash it out for a few more years before its replacement time.

Ok so it's a complete re-op then really, crikey. Your only a couple of years in too, I think I'd be tempted to tough it out for as long as I could like you. Good luck Hun x
