Dull ache in one boob :(

Hiya!
I'm 11 days post op too! I've had the exact same thing today in my right breast! I also have had stabbing pains behind my nipple this evening. My nurse on Monday said it's still normal to have aches and pains in both breasts as its settling down.
I think unless it gets horrendous pain and / or swelling or fever then it's just where its healing.

You are still healing hunni so some aches and pains are normal, if you get any redness or fever then I would get it checked out with you ps. If you are at all worried though they are only a phone call away, and it does put your mind at ease. xx

Have you maybe overdone things a day before hunni?
Have you just started to sleep on your side?
Either of these things will effect your boobs and they sure do let you know if they're not ready for your body to do certain things.
Always listen to your body hunni, general rule - If it hurts.... don't do it!
This may mean returning to sleeping on your back a little longer or complete rest till the boob settles down and do take things easier. xx

Hi Girlies,
I have a similar pain at the moment itis my right boob on the inside. I feel alseep akward on my boyfriends chest about 2 weeks ago and since then its been a little ache. Im thinking this is normal but the ache is still there if i push on the inside of the breast. Im not sure but i think i might just be a little paranoid. I had my surgery in Oct 2011 so i am now 6months post op.
Just wondering if the ache left you eventulary and how long it took, its more annoying than anything.
Please let me know if you have any further advise for me?
Thanks Tammy x

You've probably pulled a muscle in your sleep lovely, try popping the old sportsbra back on for a while 24/7 and see how that goes, often just stabilising the breast for a while sorts things out, if not lovely, then this is what you paid for after-care for, go back and see your PS babe. xx

Glad it's feeling better sweetie, sometimes after allowing our new boobs their freedom or wearing wores all day our new boobs just appreciate the comfort of the old sportsbra to set things right...
Lord how I hated that sportsbra through my recovery.... now, it's my best friend!
