First check up
Hi ladies,
Well this morning I had my first check up with my surgeon since my op, im 5.5 weeks post op and he's really pleased with the results, and said scars look brilliant, and I have now the all clear to treat them as my own ! Whoop whoop ! I've bought the freya deco (the non wired soft cup) bra and am going to start wearing that and hopefully mix it up a bit and introduce some wired bras too (I've already bought 3 oooops haha) ! Steady but slowly. !
And obviously still going to be wearing the sports bras to bed, wana keep them supported
Xx

Re: First check up
Nope no pain no twinges and the odd sunburn feeling I had has gone too,
I've not got a huge amount of sensation in the nipples or beneath nipples just a funny sensation when u touch them, almost stinging sensation if that makes sense ?
And honestly I'm shocked at how soft they are, I hd the soft touch allergan which are a 100% fill and slightly firmer implant than the responsive allergen which are 95% fill so did expect them to be quite firm but they're really not !
Not long for you Sarah !!!! How's u feeling ?

Re: First check up
So glad it went well, it's such a shock when you can finally wear bras. I love the Freya soft bra, wore a wired bra from boux avenue today and it felt fine no problems. X x

Re: First check up
I ended up buying 3 wired bras this week and when trying them on they feel much more comfortable than the sports bras, so fingers crossed it won't take much to settle into wires,
How have yours settled Emma ?

Pretty much the same, pains gone, they've settled so much I just can't imagine them doing anymore changing if that makes sense,
Get an occasional pulling pain in my armpits of I realky over stretch but I reckon that's probably normal, still have to remember to tell myself I'm only 5.5 weeks post op

Re: First check up
So interesting to hear pretty much all the pain and twinges have gone at this stage. In general, the recovery time is pretty amazing don't you think!

Re: First check up
It's very odd how quick your body starts to repair itself, especially considering you have implants in their too
It's just my nips which are stingy and under boob is still pretty numb
