Self Measuring
Hey ladies
Just wondering is there any online guide you could use for measuring yourself?
I know the bra's I wear are not the correct size (34B) but put off from finding out until now because I was scared to find out what I truly am lol
Only, out of 4 websites I've looked on. I have 3 very different results and an error... lmao
If anyone could help me, I'd be grateful x

Hi, I think this is a really good guide to help you figure out what size you are. It is not so much measurement but how your current bra fits.

Re: Self Measuring
There is a link on here but on my phone at the moment so I can't find it.
Measure under your bust over your rib cage. The meausurement you get is your size, I measure about 28.5 inches, last week I thought it was 30.5 haha must of put it too high! So I would wear either 28 or 30.
Then, measure over your bust at the widest point, you may want to lean forward.
I measure 31 for example,
So that's 2.5 inches different.
Under an inch = aa
1 inch = a
2 inch = b
3 inch = c etc
So I'm between b and c = 30b/c
A proper fitting is always recommended but that's a self assessment! Xx

Check out this guide. It was posted by Charlii in a thread she linked me to a few weeks back.

Yup, that's the one! Online measuring guides are rubbish, you'll get allsorts or sizes. The one above is on a site run by one of our own, and it's the best we've found.

Re: Self Measuring
Thanks every! and this is why I am so grateful for this site lol
After checking the bra label that I wear the most, turns out my good old trusty rusty was a 34C not B
Trying the Fig Leaves one and it says 32C
SarahLou's method and the breast accessories method say: 30D
Which I suppose interlink being sister sizes? I'm leaning towards 32C as I think 30 may sit a bit too tight, but again that could be depending on brand too. I certainty don't feel like a D or a C for that matter ><
Boobs and bra's get so confusing =\
I'm looking at 400cc or possibly 450cc - What would you reckon that would take me to?

Re: Self Measuring
Once you've had your BA you need that band to fit tight and snug. It'll feel weird at first, but you'll soon get used to it. All the support comes from the band.
It's all to do with perception. The media has us thinking that people like Jordan are all DDs, when they're not. It's really useful to get fitted properly beforehand so you get a true idea of where you're starting.
There's no knowing how one implant will be on one girl to the next. Fewer cc's go further on a smaller girl, but if you say you've lost volume from weight loss, you'll need to fill that out first, so there's no way to tell.

Re: Self Measuring
Yeah, Suppose I need to find a decent bra shop and get properly checked before my BA. Then have a play with some different band sizes.
Yeah deflated from 38G so quiet a fair bit of skin to fill back out. I'm hoping to be quite busty again if I'm honest although my husbands not overly keen on me being big. x
