measuring myself
Right so i wanted to buy a couple bras earlier that are in a sale, and i thought 'oh i best measure myself to be curious' so out came the measure tape.
Following the measurment guides, i measured 29inches at the bottom of my bust line, which you add 5 ontop to make a 34band width.
Then i measured the fullest part of my bust. this came in at 35inches. The cup size is the difference between the band width and bust width. 1inch being A, 2inch being B and so on...

So this calculated me as an A cup?! Now i KNOW that isnt true, but my measurements are right, so what am i doing wrong?

You're using online measuring babe
It's really hard not to be tempted by the sales isn't hun, but chances are you will be wasting your money anyway babe as you will probably change size by the time you get to wear them!
All the online size guides for bras are rubbish hun, you're best to wait until you can be 'fitted' into a bra - I'm a 29in bandwidth and wearing a 32 band hun, so just wait to get the best fit when you're ready and your boobs are settled and by someone who can help fit you into a good supportive bra too hun. xx
Re: measuring myself
lol fair do's! well if they dont fit by the time i can wear them...well they have a 28day returns policy. if not then ebay!

Re: measuring myself
i found a decent measuring guide, seemed more realistic,
measure the top of your bust(under armpits) measure fullest part ,each inch difference is 1 cup size. ie 30" under pits 34 fullest = 30D
seems more likely size

Re: measuring myself
I wouldn't buy anything just yet hun, you'll see in one of my albums a comaprison of day 1 to 3 weeks PO when the 34D didn't fit at all to fitting perfectly. At the beginning I had to wear a 34C and now I'm a 32DD.
Don't be tempted because when you are able to wear them they'll be too small!

Re: measuring myself
I have always found the only way to know what size you are is to try bras on. I'm not saying for you to do that yet though if your less than 6weeks PO. But I find I can be a slightly different size depending on where I buy the bra from and also what the style of bra is. Maybe go somewhere like bravissimo once your 6weeks PO and get them to measure you so you at lest have an idea. xx

Re: measuring myself
yes kazaa, i went on the 85b web site thought i would measure myself for a sports bra, i came out a 30D, as you measure in 3 different places, but i think that its best to get fitted a bra in every lingerie shop as they all come up different.
Cant wait till 6 weeks are up and out of these horrid contraptions eh!!..
