Going to see doctor Empty Going to see doctor

Post by Langers 11th February 2015, 12:50 pm

My insisions are weeping and are very red. I'm going to see the doctor later today. Took my bra off for a shower last night and the smell was really bad. They don't look infected but am concerned. The glue came off one boob last night. Freaked my hubby out her thought it was skin.

@annaritchley. It's weird as the worst looking scar is on the boob that doesn't hurt. Where as my right boob kills but scar seems not as bad ????

My scars were a little red too but the fact that it smells and they are weeping, you should go get it checked to be on the safe side. Are they weeping on both sides then? Xxx

Also langers, after your shower are you making sure your incisions are dried properly? As water is a breeding ground for bacteria. Xxx

After you have been to the doctors and it turns out everything is all ok, use a hairdryer on the cool setting to dry . Make sure you dry thoroughly. Did the surgeon say you was allowed to get your incisions wet? Let us know how you get on xxx

If you do have an infection it may well turn out you are not allowed to get them wet for a while. Plus antibiotics. When are you going? Xxxx

I never had any dressing on my insisions only glue. It was that dumb nurse who said I could get them wet and shower normally. Will let you know how I get on.  Appointment at 4. Xxx
