2 weeks PO- feeling ill
Hi Girls,
I am 2 weeks post op and I feel pretty ill today. I was up half the night with back ache, boob ache (right one was playing up all day yesterday) the ache goes right through to my shoulder blade, massive headache and ridiculously sore throat. Feels like i'm coming down with something.
I over did it yesterday walking around London for hours- IDIOT, I know. Do you think this is my body telling me to calm the down or do I actually have some kind of cold/virus coming on? Just read online about implant infection and now i'm worried!
When I walk around my boobs are SO tender today, I can't move from the sofa. My head feels like its going to explode! xx

They are still taped up as I still have stitches in, I can't see any redness really though coming from the tape.
Oh no you poor thing Anne! You really had a bad time with the sickness! Glad you're well now. Yes I seem to have exactly as you first described, must be immune system down x

Hope you feel better soon. I imagine your body is a little run down and there are lots of bugs going round at this time of year. Stay hydrated and rest when your body is telling you to.

Re: 2 weeks PO- feeling ill
igree with mammamia. Loads of bugs are doing the round right now and it sounds like you've definitely picked something up and yes, when your boobs ache they are telling you they need their sportsbra (a good quality one and do check that it still fits as very often once swelling starts to go down the bra band may become loose, if the band is loose - your boobs aren't getting any support)
Be sure to keep warm sweetie, get some fresh lemons in and some honey and make yourself a nice hot honey and lemon drink with all that natural vitamin C helping your immune system and the honey helping to soothe that sore throat too.
Get well soon babe

Thanks Mirren. I have to go in unfortunately, if i don't my poor colleague will be dragged in on their day off!
I got a light duties note, may not even show anyone but I have it just in case any of my managers try to ask why I am not doing certain things!
Just popped a couple of beechams which is making me feel better!

Honey & lemon in hot water helps loads. I've just discovered echinacea (spelling!) You take it at the first signs of a cold and it gets rid of the cold. Natural herb/plant thing!
