Hi Blondie. Just moving this to the FAQ section.

If you go into your profile settings, you can set your notifications up how you would like them. You can have it so it pops you an email on selected topics you're following, ones you've created etc, or you can turn them off altogether. Theres also the notifications box at the top right of the screen which will show you when you have replies or have been tagged.
