Tick tock !

Well ladies....
Today I had my final consultation with my ps, went through everything to make sure I was happy (which I am) and it was the final sizing check ! Well, I've decided to stick with my original decision of 415cc, I had the choice of 415 or 450's I was soooo close to saying sod it go for the 450's but something in me says 415 is the right size, and I don't think your gut is ever wrong, and I feel 100% happy with the choice,,,, 
Soooooo now it's just a waiting game, I leave home Tuesday and fly to the uk and the op is Wednesday and fly home thursday, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was nervous bcos I really am and I'm sure most of you have seen my threads about being petrified of flying ! But I am also incredibly excited, this has been a 12 year wait, and now I'm 5 days away ! Feels so odd to be saying that and also feels like it's never going to happen, but it is !

I know how you are feeling chick as it also took me many, many years to finally go for it.It is a big decision at the end of the day.
I hope you will overcome your fear against flying - it will literally fly by:)

Awww it's just a case of the 'Pre-Op Jitters' Many of us go through this but it does settle down. Reading the surgery stories the ladies have left here for us to read are a tremendous help! Reading their excitement on their big day helps you because you KNOW that on Wednesday, that same excitement is gonna be all yours! Xx

So excited for you! The journey and the op will be just fine, just remember to breath and you'll be ok!

Hey Roses. I feel nervous at times too. Sometimes I think I've done a little bit too much homework if you know what I mean. Just listen to those who have been there, done it, and got the bra ;) And your surgeon of course. Read the positive stuff now to help the excitement take over those nerves. I also find keeping busy helps. You're the day after me aren't you. Were in this together babe x

Love you lot ! Thankyou so much for all your kinds words ! That brought a tear to my eye it really did,you guys understand so much more of how I feel than anyone else, my "supposed" friends don't give 2 craps about me having this done and they just don't realise the sheer emotional roller coaster im riding right now !!!

So nice to hear others are finding it an emotional roller coaster too! I haven't paid a deposit yet even though my op is 5 weeks time as they haven't billed me yet!! This said, keeps making me question if I'm doing the right thing!! Good luck to you both this week! Keep in touch re your recoveries!! Xx

Agreed Cookie :) Breast Buddies is great. All the January buddies seem to be lovely girls - all very supportive of one another.

Becky59, I didn't pay any money till one week before, and don't pay my hospital fees till the day. I kept questioning myself too - I actually felt more worried the week before I paid, probably because until I paid the money the worry could have resulted in me changing my mind, I still had a choice. Once money had been paid, in my mind that is it - choice finalised. Whatever happens happens now. I'm not saying I'm anxiety free (I keep waking up really early in the morning with a knot in my stomach) but it's certainly not as bad as it was. Talking to people on sites like this help. It is an emotional time - especially when it's something you've wanted for so long. Xx
