Two Month Check - Tick!
Hello ladies, just a wee post to say I had my 2 month check-up yesterday and all is good.
My surgeon was extremely happy with the results, especially the scars. Though to those that were surprised that I was asked to wear microtape for 3 months - he has now said that I can extend that period to six months! He said the longer the better.
I am so pleased with my new boobs, and they completely feel like they are mine now.
My only concern that I brought up with my surgeon was that my left nipple is still a little numb. Obviously they are still healing and my nipple is improving all the time, however tbh it wouldn't worry me if it stays as it is. It is a small price to pay, and I am looking forward to seeing the end result in a few months time

Re: Two Month Check - Tick!
2 months is nothing in the grand scheme of what is this recovery LJR. It can take anything up to 2 years for sensation to return, but for most sensation has returned by one year lovely.
In the four years I've been here and the almost 8,000 women that have passed through, only two women have lost sensation babe, so I consider that very good odds hun, don't you?!!!
Glad all went well sweetie. Xx

Re: Two Month Check - Tick!
What do you ladies do in terms of massage when you have to leave the tape on for so long?
Do you use creams/oils and then have to wipe them all off before reapplying? Or don't you massage at all? Does the tape replace massage? Xx

Thank you ladies x
In answer to your question with regards to tape Cookie - I did not do any massage, nor have I applied anything to the scar area. The microtape stays on literally until it comes away by itself. For example the same piece of tape was on from my 2 week check to my 2 month check!
