Pain, wonky boobs & boobie blues!
Just a wee post concerning all of above & my experience of having. BA.
Pain I experienced was awfull BUT ONLY when doing anything that involved having to use pec muscles even flushing loo hurt! Lasted around 10 days or so, couldn't believe how much better I felt the days & weeks that followed I was like a different person.
Boobie blues - lack of sleep & feeling pretty useless around the house etc all contributed to me ending up a bubbling mess at a GP appointment ( not boob related) poor GP only asked how I was feeling!...lol. This too was short lived (once I was sleeping better & able to do more without pain /discomfort.)
The wonky boobs lasted a whole lot longer so I just treated boobs like you would a mis behaving child & ignored them for a while until they started behaving themselves & liked what I was seeing, this worked for me, gained a few grey hairs in the process though, nothing that good old l'oreal couldn't fix!
Would I do it all again , the answer is a BIG YES & probably sounds weird but think I would enjoy the process 2nd time round a whole lot more , knowing what to expect , even the not so nice bits.
To me the end result is so worth it, just love having boobs. Don't think the novelty will ever wear off! XXX

Awww I'm sure this post will be so reassuring to many Mirren. Xx
Re: Pain, wonky boobs & boobie blues!
I completely agree with the 'look less' approach after my recent panics!! We all want perfection which in itself is our enemy, but so much changes in these first few weeks that we continuously question what's normal and what's recovery. I think it was Jen that said to me to try and look less, and already in just a few days I've noticed a major turnaround!
No amount of pre op prep could prepare me with every little niggle and worry post op, but having this forum has been a godsend!!

Heaven knows how the ladies post op survive who aren't aware of forums like this & come away from hospital with a telephone number to call if they have any worries or concerns, think I would have needed my own personal direct line , they'd probably have call barred my number! XXX

Lol. When I had my first Breast Augmentation there were no forums such as this at all so I went through it all alone. Thankfully I had a very good recovery that time, but as you said Mirren, had i had a bad recovery I don't know what I'd have done.
I'd most likely be bumping my head on my padded walls in my cell right now rather than posting here lol xx

That has made me smile . I am hating mine at the moment -especially from the side so I am going to ignore them.mirren001 wrote:
