Another question sorry
Hi girls it's me again!!! Since my BA I have had really oily skin. I had dry skin before so this is really strange. It's really quite bad on my face. Anaesthetic side effects? Very strange. Xxx

Re: Another question sorry
Yup you got it. The anaesthetic really messes with our hormones and many, many women have problems not so much with an oily face although that does happen, but the most common is spots in the cleavage area.
I'll be honest, it can take some time to settle down and for some women that could mean months. So with your face it would be wise to get yourself some facial cleanser, toner, moisturisers for greasy skin to help you through this stage. If it's affecting your chest as well you can use it on there too.
A lot of women think bio oil is an all healing thing we see it often here, but whatever you do, don't use bio oil on your chest, it'll only promote more grease and will make things worse than better.
On the flip side you might find it only happens for a week and then clears up. It's another thing that happens and is different from person to person. Some women don't get it all.
I got it in my cleavage when I had my first boobs and I've been lucky not have them after that.
I've a feeling I shouodnt have said that xx

Re: Another question sorry
The thing is it's not causing me spots at the moment so I think I will wait and see. My priority is to concentrate on my boobies, even if I do look like waynetta xxx

Re: Another question sorry
Hi Jen yes I've heard a couple of noises. But it's thanks to this forum that I know what it is so don't worry . I started my period today and was bang on time , so the GA didn't make me late thank god . So not only do you feel bloated anyway we also have to contend with one as well. But I'd much rather be a woman any day over being a bloke . My boobs are just fine and getting dressing changed Saturday . Today is the first day I put some make up on and am popping out to visit family . Not bad for day 5 xxx

Yes, it can make your period late.Jen23 wrote:makes me wonder now if the GA will make me late too?
Sorry to put a question on your thread.
If you've however stopped taking your pill if you're on one on the run up to having your Breast Augmentation then it's never wise if you've been bumping uglies (heehee love that phrase) on the run up or after your GA to write it off as a side affect. If there's any chance at all you could be pregnant then it's always best to take a pregnancy test.
You'll be surprised how many pregnant buddies we get right after surgery lol. Xx
Re: Another question sorry
I can just see what's going through jens mind right now hehe. I knew I couldn't be pregnant unless magic happened. Xxx

No Anne, its something we have come to terms with.
We were very lucky to have had 3 children before secondary infertility :)
Glad we started young (18) or we might never have had those little swines lol x x

Re: Another question sorry
It's the anaesthetic. I had it after my second BA. Always had dry sensitive skin, then all of a sudden I had really greasy skin and I had spots all over my face and chest. It was horrible and lasted 4/5 months x

Re: Another question sorry
They look great! A part of me really wanted big fake boobs, especially as im so tiny, but I thought about the kids and being practical. Dammit!! Lol plus, the surgeon I wanted wouldn't have gone for anything nearthat size.
Glad healing so well :) x

Re: Another question sorry
I think you look great, as much as I wanted big and fake I only went with what my surgeon suggested and I had so much room to fit the big implant. Believe it or not they look really natural on me lol, well under clothes haha xx

Re: Another question sorry
I think I wanted huge ones as ive never had any, I know long term it wouldn't have been the right decision for me. How are u getting on everyday with general life? Do they get in your way?
In all honesty they don't look that huge on you, as you said. I would look ridiculous lol I think I might invest in a 2 sizes bigger bra.....just for once in a while ;)
Did u have a decent breast width to fit a large implant?
Sorry for all the questions, your boobs intrigue me....in a good way :) x x

Re: Another question sorry
Ask away luv, I feel like I've always had em now. A couple of wks ago I was thing god what have I done but now I'd have been gutted had I gone any smaller. My surgeon said with the skin and space he would recommend a 700 - 800. They've fitted in a treat xx

Re: Another question sorry
I had a really oily face the morning after my BA, I asked the nurse and she looked confused and said they don't put anything on your face... Glad it's not just me :)
