Yoga and boob implants...
Hi I'm new to the forum and booked to have an augmentation on 23rd December (Happy Christmas to me!). Are there any ladies out there who have implants and do yoga? I'm slightly concerned as to how the new boobs will feel in poses such as the bow. Worried that pressure on them will hurt!
Any reassurance and advice would be appreciated.
Thank you :)

Hi :)
Welcome to the forum :)
I cant speak for yoga, and ive only had my boobs a week but im sure once they are healed you will be able to do everything you did before. Im sure your body will tell you whats OK, even of it means taking a step back to the beginners version of some moves for a while.
Think of all the celebs that do yoga with fake boobs :)

Thanks for the reply.
I guess you're right. Time will tell and there are certainly lots of celebs who do yoga having had new boobs :)
Hope you recover ok. Will be good to see how people go on the forum. I really have no idea what to expect!

As long as you are in the correct supportive bra when you go back to it, it should be fine! It'll feel weird at first while you get used to it...and they do kinda get in the way if you have to lie on your front. It took me a long while before I was comfortable enough to lie on my front, say for a massage or osteopath. You kind of make a do-nut out of a towel for them to sit in! But as long as you give them the proper time to heal, and listen to your body as to what it can and cant do, it shouldn't change a thing.

Thanks Charli
Guess it's just a matter of taking my time and listening to my body. At the moment I feel uncomfortable on my front because my hip bones dig into the floor so perhaps my new boobs will give me the lift I need!

No worries, I binned the duplicate!
You're absolutely right. A lot of girls also think that because their surgeon has given the all clear at 6/8/12wks to go back to exercising, everything is going to fall back into place. But just because you're allowed to, doesn't mean your body is ready for it. You might be able to go straight back to where you left off, you might have to give it another couple of months and ease yourself in. But your body will always let you know whats ok, and whats not.
