scar tissue
9weeks since my ba and im wondering how often i should be massaging my insitions as they feel quite raised am only using moisturising maybe i should off started earlyr xx

I was advised to massage them once the incisions had healed.
I did read on here though there is a difference between massaging and just chucking some oil on haha!
Have been massaging when I can and don't know if it's becasue I am but they're looking great.

Hope this helps & do bare in mind that scars continue to improve & heal up to 18 months according to some surgeons.
You don't need to use expensive moisturisers or oils when massaging , Palmers coco butter , bio oil etc seem to be quite popular ones to use on here , all down to personal choice what you prefer XXX

Scar massage is one of those things that's neither proven nor disproven. Some girls swear by it, some never touched them and have no trace. Personally I tried, couldn't do it, it made me feel really queasy. As long as you're applying enough pressure, it should do something. But it can take time...a lot more than 9wks! We're talking a year!

My surgeon said moisturise them or do nothing!!
