Time of the month and BA date Empty Time of the month and BA date

Post by anneritchley 31st October 2014, 8:26 am

Hi all, I think my monthlys and my op date are going to clash!!
Does anyone know if this holds an issue with BA day ? I would be gutted if it did!! Although it is very inconvenient. And also I find my boobs swell a lot at this time so I wonder if that interferes with measurements etc ?

I had my period at the time of my op and I wasn't a problem, just an inconvenience!

The reason I asked was because I have heard of surgeons cancelling because of this ? Xx

Oh never heard of that! Can't see why it would be a problem but maybe check with your surgeon/secretary. The hospital were aware I had my period and it wasn't an issue.

It shouldn't be an issue just more of an inconvenience, you cant wear tampons though only pads.XXX

yeh, all I've heard is no tampons, so they give you an nice enormous pad to wear! Other than that it shouldn't be an issue.
