Time of the month? Empty Time of the month?

Post by Scatty247 25th January 2013, 6:46 pm

Lovely topic I know but it's that time of the month, I noticed when I got up this morning my bra felt really tight on the cups and I've been getting shooting pains and aches all day, is this just what happens normally but I've never noticed? I have definatly woke up half a cup size bigger I'd say sorry if this is silly question Blush xx

My boobs are whoppers as it is, but when I have my period.... My goodness they are HUGE! They get 'sore' too.

It could be that its hormone related... Then again.... It could be that you've fluffed! You'll know after a couple of days if they go down or not sweetie. Xx

I had that same scare when mine didn't arrive on time too.

Before my BA I did swell dramatically on my boobs at least 1/2 a cup size had to go back and see my surgeon as I was really swollen on my first consultation with him. I havnt noticed the same since my BA but I think I'm still swollen and settling.

Really, how do you feel on that mais? I've had the injection and that was awful, I was so moody and I came out in acne! Most certain pills mess me up too! I've been advised the implant but I'm far too scared incase I react the same way as I did the injection xx

Erg I had awful acne with injection but I was 16 so could have been an age thing. This is my second month and feel fine now. I struggled with the first month but think that could have been the missed period ect I had headaches and tiredness but all settled now. I also hadn't been on a hormone contraception in 2 years so I think my body had to get used to it but love it now. Change it once a week for 3 weeks then have a week break, like the pill but not every day xx

I don't do well on much contraceptives since been put on beta blockers I tried pill had constant headache, tried injection and bled every single day for 3 months, had the coil which was brilliant, had coil a second time it was a nightmare I had spots all over my face and I turned into the angriest most stressed out monster you could imagine within minutes of having it removed I went straight back to normal! It's all trial and error I'm on nothing at minute naughty I know xx

I have the copper coil. It has it's down sides heavy periods and a day of being really snappy but that I can live with for now. I don't like the person I become with the other stuff. I'm considering sterilisation at some point. A friend of mind had it done and she was just 30 it was quite a few years ago tho.

I asked for it at 28 I had two boys and dint plan on anymore but was grateful they turned me down cause after 7 yrs of being single parent I met someone and we had a baby lol but now I definatly don't want anymore. My doc wouldn't put the copper in because I have heavy periods and I'm sure she said it would make them worse. It was the marina that made me ill I'm at a loss at minute and its killing our passion tbh lol xx

It might be worth talking with a sexual health family planning clinic see what ideas they have, they may consider the copper coil. It's were I went for mine. My gp only prescribes the pill.

Yes It can and in my case did make me heavier but for me that was only a small down side really.
