Re: December Buddies
Haha, yeah I am a bit of a midget
My price includes an overnight stay & my surgeon said if I feel up to it & am well enough I can go home if I want but to be honest... i'm paying for an overnight stay so i'll probably stay. On a selfish level, it means I can buzz nurses for whatever I need and have pain relief on tap lol. It's also a bit less time that my husband has to run around after me haha!
I'm paying £3960 for the BA, no uplift was needed. I'm also getting my ear lobes sewn up (I have stretched ears) so it's about £4250 all in, if I remember rightly. What about you, chick? :) xx

My price includes an overnight stay too, im having my mam stay over with me too (double room) that's an extra £55 .
But my BA is £4790 and im not having an uplift either. its so strange how the prices differ!

Re: December Buddies
Ahh that's weird, I think it's to do with the anaesthetists fees as well. That's a good idea to get a double room! I only live about 30 mins from the hospital so the hubs can just leave late and then come get me in the morning. I do have an iphone ! Howcome? Are you nervous at all? The only thing i'm worried about is it being really obvious when I go back to work after xmas. I won't have them "out OUT" but don't want people gossiping, you know?! x

Re: December Buddies
Yeah probably surgeons and anesthetists have different prices and fees. I only live 15 minute drive from my hospital but im such a baby would hate sleeping in the hospital by myself - was just asking cos well have to like facetime when were recovering in bed only kidding but we should exchange numbers :) - Well i work in an office and ive only told 3 girls well i only told 2 girls then another one blurted it out so now 3 girls haha! My office is mostly MEN so and my bosses are so i havnt told them about it. Yeah i know what you mean im not gonnah have mine out out but they will probably notice but TUFF. ive tied it in with my xmas holidays so wont be back at work till 6th of jan :)

Re: December Buddies
I just pm'd you my number, possum. I don't blame you for getting your mum in with you. If it wasn't for my other half i'd probably do the same. Ahh that's great that you've got so much time off. You'll be a bit used to them and I wouldn't have thought you'll really be sore at all by that point. I'm going back on the 2nd (which is a Friday) and then I'll have the weekend to recover, so i'm sort of easing myself in.
LOL, don't blame you for not telling your bosses if they're all men. That could be an awkward convo to say the least! x

Re: December Buddies
Hi Jess, Yes unfortunately that's the price difference between going private and going with a commercial company. Yes i shopped around i went to MYA and Transform didn't like them at all. Just my opinion. rather pay more to go private and to be seen by a BAAPS and BAPRAS surgeon. Just my preference tho hun. If you think about it tho you'll probably pay just as much as me after youve paid travel, accommodation and post op bra's ect. Where as i live 10 mins away from the hospital , stay overnight and i get my post of bras included.

Re: December Buddies
My surgeon does private too. I wouldn't go for a unknown surgeon either. Nahhh course hun it's your choice. Mine was originally £4.5k but got s grand off. I got my post op bra from tesco for £6 blooming bargain and they are highly rated. X
