Seat belt Empty Seat belt

Post by anneritchley 21st October 2014, 4:00 pm

Hi this seems a silly question and trivial but it's something I thought about! After I come out of surgery and I get into the car, what is the best thing to do about wearing a seatbelt? I don't want to get pulled for not wearing one. I could say " sorry officer I just had my boobies enlarged and they are very tender" or what have others done about this. They are going to be swollen and painful.
Any ideas?

Post by mirren001 21st October 2014, 4:06 pm

I took a pillow with me & placed that between my boobs & seat belt to cushion them whilst my husband was driving us home.
Others may have some more tips  for you , I found this helped me
As I have said there's no such thing as a silly question , when you think of something just ask :ok: . XXX

I plugged mine in but then put the chest strap section behind me, and just wore the lap belt section. Probably illegal but I doubt it would ever result in any issues. Obviously not as safe, but an option. Actually my surgeon suggested this off the record!

I used a towel and held the seat belt away from me, was fine, my dad took me in his landrover which is quite high so was comfortable. My BFs car over the speed bumps was what hurt - it's much lower.

Yeah I've been fine to be honest, most I've ached is today and think that's cause I was trying bras on.

HATE the M&S zip up, wore it for a few hours and put my other one back on, I got a 34DD cause the cups were too small on the 34E, felt like my boobs were squished together, they ache now!
