Boob Belt
Hi everyone
Just thought I would ask if anyone was given a belt to wear over the top part of their new breasts.
When I finally booked my BA I had an a app with the nurse who did the general checks i.e blood pressure, weight e.t.c she gave me one of these breast belt things and told me to put it on and to wear it after I have had my BA done. I havent heard anyone mention these on here and just wondered if anyone was given one and what they are supposed to do. Surely if you are to buy a decent support bra that should be enough.
Dont really fancy the idea of my new boobs being squashed at the top by this belt thingy, knowing my luck they will end up all mishaped at the top of the breasts
Im having anatomical unders 310cc but now swaying towards the 295cc they have ordered, want to be a C cup n scared Im gonna end up a D cup!!!
Any thoughts?

Re: Boob Belt
Some surgeons use a compression band to help them settle into the pocket quicker. As misf1 said, it's quite normal and can help recovery.
Re: Boob Belt
i wore one for two weeks after my surgery, it was mega uncomfortable but toally worth it!! it helped my implants to settle down into the pocket and not ride up. they look brilliant now so i guess it was good! it didnt misshape them or anything but it did hurt my armpits a bit and felt really tight but bear with it, its all worth it in the end xx
