330 round overs, how natural?
Yesterday at one of my consults, I was recommended either 320 anatomical overs or 330 round overs. He said I should choose anatomical if I wanted a natural look, or round if I wanted to look like Victoria Beckham. I chose rounds, as I didnt want the extra risk of complications with the possibility of rotation of the anatomicals, but now I'm worried they'll look really fake. What do you think? Would I be better getting unders? I asked him if it'd be safer to get unders (less risk of CC) but he said that wasnt true and I should get overs because I have enough tissue to hide an implant. I was under the impression that there were more long term benefits to unders...?

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
hiya hunny i have to be honest here and give you my opinion ok, if he said you have enough tissue for overs then go with that.
i had unders twice and that was the worst decision ever, i hated them.
they are fine for people who have very little or no tissue at all, like me when i had my first b/a. they feel so firm and don't move or jiggle honestly hunny they are so unatural and they distort into horrible shapes when you flex your muscles or lift anything heavy.
you have been told you have enough tissue so you are very lucky, i would advise definately get overs they are so much better in every way, seriously hun i know how bad i felt for years and was still embarrassed to take my top off in front of oh or let him touch them it was like touching 2 tennis balls under my skin....not sexy at all.
good luck hun xxx

I would go with what your surgeon has recommended! You will get lots of different opinions as to the pros and cons of overs and unders but it really is personal choice. I was recommended anatomical unders but like you didn't want the possibility of rotation so chose rounds. I wanted unders as I was advised I would get the most natural look for me. Luckily I have no distortion and I work out alot. They are more firm at the top but do they do jiggle a bit and I get a fab cleavage in the right bra!! I think the main benefits of unders which my ps mentioned was that they make mamograms easier - he is a reconstructive surgeon specialising in breast cancer so he knows his stuff and you won't get rippling at the top where the muscle is covering! However if you have enough tissue for overs I don't think you'd get the VB look - it all depends of what result you want!
Good luck and hope you enjoyed Newcastle - its where I live and I love it!

One question lovely, can this surgeon actually do unders? Some only specialise in one placement, as overs are easier and faster t do.

I have to agree with AK. I was advised unders as I said I wanted a full but very natural look however had DB and very bad muscle flex distortion so changed to overs. They do not look fake at all (unless as Nat said you dress em right up in a great bra!) I liked my unders (apart from the complications obviously) but love my overs more and more every day. I asked about VB's shape at my consultation and my PS told me that because she has such a low percentage body fat the implant will show far more in the upper pole than on most people.

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
I've been offered 340 overs and the first thing the consultant said was not to worry they wouldn't make me look like victoria beckham!!! if theres enough tissue there then it should def hide them and they should settle down to look natural....a couple of friends of mine have had under the muscle and they are very hard....in fact they don't move at all and permenantly have a cleavage!! I would def go for over if you have that option xx

I had 340 overs and mine are really natural without a bra, you wouldn't even think i'd had a boob job, they are perfect for my frame too.
With a bra on though they get the "round fake" look sometimes, i get a great cleavage with them too xxx

I had 250 overs hun although its only a small implant anyway they do look very natural but there is pros and cons to both placements and you will need to find out whats best for you although if you only have a very small amount of tissue its likely you will have problems with rippling and risk the possibility of them looking fake maybe see a few more surgeons and see what they recommend hun.

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
Thanks everyone, I feel more reassured about getting the overs now. I'll see what Mr Kuna advises on Friday, but I'm certainly coming round to the idea now :-) And as a plus, I'll heal faster hehe. Will I be able to lift heavyish things any sooner as well, or is that still 6 weeks?

Yeah, I suppose. Better to be on the safe side. I'm still a bit nervous about asking for time off work and to work in a different department for a while, but I guess I'll just have to.
And RoxyChick, I didnt specifically ask if he could do unders, but I imagine he can as he was telling me that some people need them if they dont have enough tissue. I get the impression that he must've done them before, but I dont know for certain.

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
Hey hun!
I had 385cc overs, you have seen my pics and i think they look quite natural? I was about a 34aa before. I was given the option between overs and unders, I had enough to have overs but didn't have too much to have unders if that makes sense? lol I had about 1.5cm tissue and that was enough for me not to look like Victoria Beckham. It was really hard to make a decision!!! In the end overs was the best for me. Good Luck in choosing!
Hope this helps in some way :)

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
I'm having 350cc round high profile overs and I STRESSED to my ps that I didn't want to look fake or like VB and he told me that with the amount of breast tissue I have I will get a nice look.
If I want fake, all I gotta do is wear a wonderbra!!! Best of both worlds

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
I had 410 overs and don't have the VB look. My surgeon did warn that I might have a line. But I dont. They look really natural and feel natural (ish) and they even fall to the side like real boobs when I lie down. Although rightie has still not caught up with leftie in th ehealing stages still. But when I first had them done, god they were high and looked kinda stuck on. Now they slope like a real boob.
Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
Hi,
If you have enough tissue to cover them, you won't get the VB look. I think hers just looked awful as she is so skinny and didn't have enough tissue to cover the implant.
I had 410 overs from a B cup. Mine are really natural looking. Certain bras make them look rounder at the top (see my avatar pic) but all of my friends and family who have seen them can't believe how natural and soft they are. They'd never have guessed they weren't real if I hadn't of told them!
I think you've seen my pics too

I honestly don't think that any surgeon giving you overs could end up giving you boobies like VB even if he did the op in the dark!!! I have no idea how VB ended up with boobs like that. I was so scared about having overs because of her!!! She gives overs a bad name. I promise, get that out of your head and 330cc implant will be a nice size. You got nothing to worry about.

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
Anatomicals dont rotate its a myth-my ps that youd have to have a complete butcher of a surgeon for this to happen and he cant even see how it could happen as a anatomical implant is bottom heavy so for starters it would have to go against gravity to rotate.
Also the implant would have to be very small and not fill out the breast either, plus the pocket would have to be cut to big and even then he cant see how it could happen as its a textured implant. He also knows of noone this has happend to and no other surgeon he knows has ever had this happen.
In any case I would definitely say if you have enough tissue and overs are what your surgeon recommeds then go with that.

Re: 330 round overs, how natural?
Well thanks girls, I do feel reassured now that overs will be good and the size natural-ish :-)
After my third consult today, I've decided to go for 340 overs with Mr Kuna at Transform hopefully at the beginning of September.
Ooooh yay! Fingers crossed it all goes well
