Have decided to wait...
After doing A LOT of research on here and elsewhere, I have finally decided to hold off on the BA until I am done having kids. We've always known we want a third and as we've decided to take the plunge early next year I've decided it's better to hold off until that's all done and dusted (in the nicest possible way!) and my body is then forever my own!!
I feel a bit sad as id geared myself up but it's the right thing to do. This way I can breast feed etc without worrying about affecting the surgery - and Dr grover (who I will definitely go back to) felt strongly that I should wait if I was planning to in the next year so I shouldn't ignore that. As much as I was trying to.
So assuming it happens quickly (hopefully) and I then feed for 6 months then have a 6 month break before the BA I'm 2 years away. I'll be 37 then which sounds old! But hopefully I'll be able to get back into a bikini again ;-) And at least this time I'll make sure I take pics of my amazing breast feeding boobs to show the surgeon what I want to look like!
Now the sad hunt begins to find a bra that fits properly. Have been reading up on measurements and I think I am a 30/32 A not a 34aa like I thought so hopefully I find something. Still bloody depressing though! :-(

Re: Have decided to wait...
Your being very sensible in putting your BA on hold until you have completed your family.
You can't predict the effect pregnancy will have on your boobs & you never know you might actually like them afterwards & decide not to go ahead with a BA!
On the other hand should you still decide you want to have a BA after you have completed your family your results will be more predictable than having one pre pregnancy as you can't predict the effect pregnancy will have on augmented boobs.
37 isn't old, being 46 when I had mine I guess that makes me ancient!
Take yourself off to Bravissamo to get fitted, they will sort you in your quest for that bra.
Best wishes Daisychains for baby no 3, we'll all still be here should you need us & do let us know how everything goes. XXX

Hi daisychains I think you've made a great decision! I'm so impatient so I know how hard it probably was to come to that conclusion but 2 years will fly by....if you think back 2 years with your kids it seems like yesterday! Having a ba will seem like an absolute doddle in comparison to having 3 kids ha haaaa! I know mine felt like a holiday!! Good luck with everything hun xx

Hey daisychain,
I think your making the right decision if your wanting more children soon. Your body changes so much during pregnancy & feeding! Hope everything works out for you and goes to plan, good luck hun xx

This has to be one of the hardest decision to come to terms with DaisyChains and I respect that no matter how hard it was, you made the right one for yourself.
If you're looking for a bra that fits though Daisy, I'd very much consider going to have a specialist fitting.
My daughter had been wearing AA for years, I took her for a fitting and she's a 28D. She now walks around with her bra label hanging out if she's every wearing those ripped backed T shirts or anything that will expose the back of her bra. She makes me laugh because of her pride for her D cups lol. So it may pay off to go Daisy and you might surprise yourself!
Please don't feel you need to leave the forum either babe. If you'd like to stick around we'd be happy to see you here and you never know what you might learn whilst you're waiting on this lovely new baby of yours to come and you then have your BA. Xxxx

Re: Have decided to wait...
Thanks so much for all the messages and I should have added at the top, thank you so much to everyone who has shared their stories, experiences and knowledge on this site. Its been an amazing resource and while I have decided to hold off for now, the site has been amazing in ensuring that I know as much as I can about all the pros and cons when I do eventually go for it!
And dont worry Cookie - I wont leave the site, ill still be keeping an eye on everyone's progress and probably adding questions now and again when I think of them! I'll be back here moaning about sports bras and morning boob before I know it

Awwww I'm glad you're staying Daisy . I look forward to sharing in your baby joy too
Re: Have decided to wait...
It will fly by hun, honestly, and especially if you have a new baby! I was meant to get mine done in 2011 and only just got them done - been annoying, but it's gone by surprisingly quickly and was definitely worth it.
And definitely get measured somewhere like Leia, Bravissimo or Rigby & Peller - lots of really tiny women wear a 32 back because it's the smallest they can find, but it's actually about a size 12. Get yourself some pretty bras in the right size, and the time goes by a lot faster (I promise!)

Echoing everyone else in that you're making a brave but sensible decision.
Get yourself a few pretty bras in your correct size which might make you feel a bit more positive in the mean time.
It will fly by and remember you'll have a pregnancy and then a little person who will definitely keep you busy which will make the time pass even quicker!

Re: Have decided to wait...
That's great that you've made that decision, especially if you're thinking of having another child so soon after you would have gone through with it. It was 18m between my first consult and going ahead (though for financial reasons mainly)...but the time will come round again so quickly, and you'll be able to choose when's best for you to take that next step.
Definitely go get yourself measured up. Boux Avenue do from a 28 back I believe, and their fitting is much better than their online measuring (they fitted me into 32DD/E, whereas I measure 36A?!?!) So many women are in the wrong size due to the old +4/5 way of measuring, so I hope you're pleasantly surprised! Its amazing what that little number can do to boost your confidence!
