Opinions on wether to ask or not!
Morning lovely ladies. So I have a confirmed date (12th sept) for my reop. Mr Durrant has said that a nipple lift would be £600, I am wondering if I should ask him to do it free of charge as 'compensation' for having to have the reop (loss of earnings - mine and hubbies, as he'll have to buy holiday days), what do you all think? X

Hi! Hope all goes well for you with reop :) as they always say 'if you don't ask, you don't get'. It's worth a try, if he can't go as far as free, ask if there are any discounts available to you. You aren't losing anything by asking so if it can help you and save you a bit of money then go for it :D everyone likes a bit of a saving! Good luck xxx

I hate asking for things, and am stupidly worried that if I ask he will do a rubbish job!!! X

I think you can ask, no harm in that. There's always a negotiation. Should you have had the lift in the first place? If so, maybe say you were advised incorrectly and shouldn't have to pay full price. I don't think as compensation for time away from work etc will go down too well, this is a private op that you've chosen to have. I know this 2nd one technically isn't, but you went into the process knowing the risks. This is what they'll argue. But like I said, no harm in asking.

Re: Opinions on wether to ask or not!
Hi Charli :-) we discussed having the nipple lift to begin with, I decided not to have it. However, what he didn't tell me was that because one nipple (breast tissue) was lower than the other, it would make what very little breast tissue I did have quite 'loose' on the underneath of the implant, kind of saggy. So the fact one nipple was lower didn't (and still doesn't) bother me, but if I'd known how my breast would be after I probably would have had it done. Does that make sense? You're probably right about the loss of earnings thing too xxx

youo might aswell ask but like charlii said this is a private op and they probably wont tae that into consideration, also if you decided against it they might come back with that, just so that you are ready for an answer thought you should know that they might do this
the out come aswell with BA's are only a "rough" description as the surgeons just dont know what it will be like til they open you up and insert that implant,as from the outide not much can be seen but when they ope you up you can have allsorts going on lol, i have ribs that dip in but you wouldnt know but obviously as they surgeon was in there he found out
I got my flight and overnight stay in hotel for my reop down in manchester but thats only cause my surgeon decided to move for a bit, I also got a cheque back with some money back for the inconvienence but I went to my surgeon direct and and not with a company xx

If you were going with THG, Transform etc I would say yes it's worth asking. But I don't think there's any chance of a 'discount' with Spire x
