Nearly 6 months on.. Problem!
Hi girls!
Hope your all well!
Im almost 6 months on and getting a few problems that i could really do with some help with.
One of my nipples is swollen in the middle.. Come and goes but both have been very puffy. I never have suffered with puffy nipples other than straight after my operation. Im not too sure what to do about it. Sometimes it looks like this breast gets smaller somehow? Thats the only way to describe it!
The other problem is really sharp stinging in my left breast. Its quite painful!
Im always so worried about anything going wrong with them so id really appreciate any advice given :)
Xxxx

Re: Nearly 6 months on.. Problem!
Hi Alison. The sharp pain is normal, it's the nerves re growing. It can be quite unnerving as it just comes and goes. If it's too much, take some paracetamol. But your nerves continue to grow up to 2yrs post, so be prepared!
As for the puffy nips, I really don't know. If it's worrying you, speak to your surgeon.

Re: Nearly 6 months on.. Problem!
Re puffy nipples could it perhaps be temperature related, mine can look puffy at times when it's hot and change when they get cooler, also one of mine is slower to react to temperature changes, its the one where I have less sensation since having BA. Give your clinic a call and see if you can see your surgeon rather than worrying yourself, that's what your aftercare is there for XXX

Its getting worse as the days go on... One has gone slightly bigger but is noticeable.. Its also quite hard! Im so worried about it all. My surgeon is not based in the UK so is not full time with transform. The next date he is there is 1st august. Ill have to wait until then to see him.
