Re: v shape pillow
I got mine off amazon for around £5 and it's been a godsend these last few days, I've been sleeping propped up and using it for sitting during the day

Re: v shape pillow
Amazon seems to be the place to go, and ebay for the cheapie ones. I think Argos do them too. I got mine from John Lewis. They're essentially all the same, its just the shape is a better support for some (I didn't get on with it, just use it for reading and gaming now)

Re: v shape pillow
I got mine from ebay and there are lots of v pillow covers on there too, I'm a bit of an ebay junkie!
I have tried sleeping on it a few times, it's pretty comfy

Re: v shape pillow
I got mine from Argos for £20. A bit pricier than some but it's a really good size and feather filled so you can mould it the shape and support you want. Love mine and still use it for sitting up in bed although don't really need it any more. But it was an absolute god send in the first few weeks.

Re: v shape pillow
Keep reading about needing a v pillow, why is this?
I had one when pregnant with my daughter, is it the same idea?

Re: v shape pillow
I think it is more comfy to sleep with at first because you have to sleep upright. I think, please correct me if I'm wrong. X

Re: v shape pillow
Because you can't sleep lying flat for a little while after and it also stops you from rolling onto your side. Your shoulders need to be slightly elevated x

Re: v shape pillow
Fran, you don't need one persay, but a lot of the girls find it more comfortable to use when they have to sleep with shoulders above heart level in order to drain the fluids. Also when you can start side sleeping, you can put it at an angle so one of the sides sits between your boobs to support them. I personally didn't get on with it at all sleeping wise, so would just build up a lot of pillows. Its down to personal choice.

Re: v shape pillow
I never bothered, I already had spare pillows from another room so just used these to build up a wedge with a few cushions underneath! It's been fine and now I'm allowed to sleep on my back so just using 2 extra pillows so I'm slightly raised. They aren't expensive but just want something else to clutter up my house!!

Re: v shape pillow
I'm a bit of a pillow freak so I already owned 4 of these v pillows... I'm doing now what I did last time, make a pillow fort building up a few normal pillows with my v pillows on top, I hate sleeping upright but it's the comfiest I can get... some of the filling in the v pillows makes a difference as some are more squishy and I prefer the more harder ones.. it's all personal preference :D
