My husband doesn't want me to get implants

Hi ladies ,
I'm all ok and can't explain how excited I am for my boob job on the 20th of June. Last night in bed my husband had a go of my boobs and said he'd miss my little b cups and said I shouldn't get a boob job. He said that they'll look fake and feel fake for him. I told him there my boobs and I'm getting implants and if you don't like them don't touch them. He then went on and said they I'll look like a pornstar and they'll be too big for me and i won't be able to handle it with all the attention. I really want to get them done for me as you can see its not for my husbands pleasure and I'm sure wants he sees them he won't be able to resist. He told me not to go ahead but I think I still will

I think he sounds a bit insecure and thinks that if (when) you get a boob job you'll get loads of attention from other men and go off with someone else. If you really love him you need to reassure him that it's him you want and you'll love him regardless. Tell him you can be his personal pornstar! (that's what my husband says I'll be!, his, not your husband's of course ;) )

You ask anyone on here, all of their partners have said the same. If you sit and talk and get to the root of his issues, you'll find its actually that he's scared your going into surgery. Unless you're wondering around top less, you won't get any more attention. Talk to him, explain it, and I'm sure he'll come round. Plus they don't feel any different once they've dropped and softened.

My hubby wasn't keen at first as I think he was worried I was doing it for the wrong reasons. Once I explained my reasons and reassured him it wouldn't turn my into an glamour girl exhibitionist (nothing wrong with that, just not us) he was really supportive. Talk it over and try and understand where he's coming from. Then you can calm his fears x

This is totally normal hun. My hubby was really supportive to start with and was happy that having my boobs done was going to make me happy.  The sooner it got to my op he started to get insecure as he kept saying about the extra attention I would get and that he would not be able to handle it etc... ( he is a jealous type!)  I sat and chatted to him and made him understand why I was going to have them done, and because I wore super padded bras all the time they would not actually look any different (which they don't!) He then calmed down and became really supportive again.  This weekend we went to London and went out for a post meal and I wore a low cut top, and to be honest my boobs looked FAB!! and they did get lots of attention which he noticed, and told me that actually he quite liked the attention they were getting as I am his woman and they can all stare but I am with him and he gets to enjoy them! xx

My husband was totally supportive throughout! He must have been in the minority from what charli says :O

He knows what it meant to me and he knew that I was only doing it for me (of course he gains too), but he knew I wasn't doing it the flaunt them around, I was doing it for my self confidence.

I guess you have already spoken to him about why you are doing it? But maybe sit down and talk again, explain what it means it you and how it will change your life etc.

Hi ladies thanks for all your helpful posts i had a chat with my husband and asked him why he was being this way he said he was scared for me to be volunterily putting myself in to surgery and he was worried about me. I reassured him that I was doing it for my self confidence and I'm doing it for me and told him my boobs are just for me and you and not for any other men and I'm happy with you and wouldn't leave you for anyone so don't be worrying about my boobs pulling men in. He said he tried to put me off getting them done but he's sorry and if i want my boobs done he'll just support me with whatever I want. I thought how sweet

Awww glad things are all better   

I think our hubby's/partners can get a little overlooked when we have a BA and their feelings can be put aside whilst we fill with our excitement for our boobs and it does become all about us.

Our husbands/partners will have their own fears to deal with as well as maybe some jealousy/insecurity issues that will need us to help with with and to smooth it all over for them.

Its not just a big deal for us, but it is for them too....this is VERY common and it does always settle down for them...and for you. 

Ha ah I can't believe this my husband was just saying to me how he can't wait for me to get my boob job as he can't wait to get to have a go over my new boobs! Last week he told me not to bother so excited 5 days to go!!! Excited!!

This like the girls have said is common to hear but you explained it the way the rest do

For me i was very lucky and ny husband was 100% behind me he even booked consultations for me as i kept putting it off xx
