I can feel my implants bellow my scar crease??
Sorry I haven't post for a while it taken some time to get used to my new twins. I had my first week appointment last Wednesday to have stitches removed. The nurse seemed happy. I just noticed today that I can feel the bottom of the implants two cm bellow the scar. Is this normal? Worrying myself I've done something wrong. I had 310 cc overs

Try not to worry. . Incisions early post op can sit above breast crease for while & once everything settles down they should drop into the breast crease, if you are overly concerned you could make an appointment to see your surgeon for reassurance, if your surgeon is a distance away from you and not so easy to see in person you could email him with some pictures. Don't worry Hun...my scars have moved into and out of my crease a few times...they are only just settling down...I noticed a turning point last week for me...try not to keep looking at them as it is still early days...you will still have swelling but if you are really concerned then give them a call...x

Thank you cheeky I'm going try and phone tomorrow if they are open. They don't feel very swollen to me and they are 2cm apart which is scary. Xx

It's a process that is alien to you so you're bound to worry along the way. Definitely get in touch with your surgeon or nurse, it's their job to advise and provide aftercare. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about though. Stay positive x

Re: I can feel my implants bellow my scar crease??
Hi hun
This is normal as Mirren has said. Mine were higher from the crease too and it's done on purpose as the scars can drop with the skin and last thing you want few months down the line is to have a scar sitting visible under the bikini top line.
My left scar is still slightly higher but it doesn't bother me. I saw Mr. Meleagros for my 3 month check and he was happy enough. Said it moves with the skin.
Walking is fine and won't cause any harm as long as you wear your support bra all the time :) I was out and about 3 days post op
xx

Thank you kdeee for the support. I've looked your pictures they look great. The bottom of implant is 2cm apart from scar on both breasts on mine. I couldn't notice it on your pictures.

If you even look at my 3 month pictures- my scars are not sitting on the crease but higher on the implant. It's the last picture bottom 2 captions. It's perfectly normal and they have become less visible as the implants have softened and fluffed :)
If you are concerned email the nurse. Mine was fab at Transform in Reading Eileen- she always got back to me xx

Re: I can feel my implants bellow my scar crease??
Because the implant is so new it's pulling the skin up high and tight. My scar didn't settle into the crease til about 3m. I know it's tempting, but try not to prod and poke and stare at them too much, it will drive you insane!

Re: I can feel my implants bellow my scar crease??
I was (am still!) the same as you jjfluffy! Such a worrier, my nurse said I'm in her top 5 worriers of all time haha
But this is a big deal to us, it's something totally new and alien and it's totally normal to worry but from what you've said it sounds totally normal, my right scar is sitting above crease and left is in the crease but hoping they'll settle into place eventually.
The best thing you can do is try and ignore them for a couple of weeks, just go about your business without studying them etc as they'll be changing so much and you'll only worry yourself more (wish id taken my own advice haha!)
Oh and agreed, I would have been LOST without the girls on here, especially early post op!!
Good luck and get in touch with your clinic, even just to put your mind at rest xx
