Totally gutted :(
After seeing Mr Armstrong yesterday i got the price for surgery today....an uplift, new implants and a query capsulectomy 11,500
Well there no way on earth i can afford that after all of the expenses we have had moving back to the UK so looks like i am sitting here in pain for the next however many years hoping it doesn't get worse
It's such a massive amount of money

Oh wow, that's a huge amount of money. Are you seeing other surgeons for more quotes and advice?

Re: Totally gutted :(
I saw Mr Armstrong for a standard BA- of the 6 quotes I got he was the most expensive by £1000 (I did get quotes from other BAAPS) so I'm sure you'll find a more reasonable price ifyou see a few more surgeons.
Good luck xx

Hi,
In the General Breast Augmentation section Cookie has added an update on how she is doing and is looking at a re op, she has been quoted a price much less than you have been quoted, the surgeon is Douglas McGeorge, he may be someone you could consider in seeing? XXX

That's one heck of a lot of money for what you need doing babe. Infact I'd go as far as saying its extortionate!
As Mirren says, I've just had a quote from Mr McGeorges secretary for removal of my implants (possible capsulectomy) and an uplift (no implants) for £5,000.
Now he's one of the best in the UK hun, so do shop around because it seems you have one very greedy surgeon there and if he's not careful he's going to totally out price himself out of this business xx

Oooo cheers Cookie i will look into it...otherwise i am considering going abroad as that is the only way i am going to be able to afford to get it done and i would rather not mainly because of the lack of aftercare which i have already encountered once. Thanks again.

Re: Totally gutted :(
Don't forget, if you use a BAAPS member they now offer an insurance for your surgery (kinda like an extended warranty) not all have opted in though, but if you find a surgeon who has, for a small fee its well worth taking out.
Douglas McGeorge actually pioneered this insurance scheme and it covers everything so well worth it hun.
Please don't go abroad
