Smoking post op
Girls iv managed 5, nearly 6 weeks not smoking for my precious boobies. I will b 1 week post op tomorrow and although I don't intend going back to being a smoker I hv the urge/craving now and again . I know it hinders the healing. And higher risk of infection but was wondering if I had an odd one or an e cig is this something thAt would put me at risk/hinder my progress? Xxx

no one knows for sure whats actually in these e-cigs, they could be more harmful than real cigs, they haven't been approved as a smoking aid as yet. your doing well keep it up :)

Keep at it!! Im 2wks down now, its getting easier. Im eating a hella lot of Brie though instead!!
Smoking thins the blood, which is why its a hindrance healing. Theres always going to be a reason to give in, but sticking to your guns and not reaching for them will make you stronger the next time the craving hits.

Thanks for ur comments girls, I know ur right! I'm so proud but it's so hard! Also hubbie and parents smoke! I just crave it still urgh it's a killer! Not only that I get so bored esp wen I'm indoors that I ended up drinking about 10 cups of tea a day in place of the cigs. Iv also put in so much weight from giving up! :(
